I know RP isn't all fancy storytelling. I once helped the BAF destroy a Kusari intruder in Leeds (But I was DualKatanas back then, before my namechange), and participated in a BAF/Corsair battle in Cambridge (Being the biggest target, I was destroyed, also before my namechange)

Also, if it helps (I'm guessing not much), I've killed over 3,000 corsair NPC's in Cambridge/Dublin/Omega-49 and about 500 Kusari NPC's in Tau-31.

I'll soon be shifting my main base of operations to Leeds, which means bigger chances of RP'ing with Kusarians.

If nothing works out, I guess I can always get a Zoner/civvie gunboat in 4.85.

- Falcata-Isn't this as much an Outcast bomber as the Havoc is a Liberty bomber?

- Stinger-GMG/IMG ship along the lines of Taiidans.

- Ravens Talon-Possession of this would be indicative of good IMG relations at the very least.

-Somtaaw/Kadesh lines-Produced by Rheinland companies.

The most generic ships are the star-line or bird of prey-line ships, Virages and Viper 1s and 2s, as pretty much everything else is tied in some way to a faction.

On the gunboat side, everything has ties in one form or another...you're looking at a large, technologically advanced, multi-crewed ship, here, the sort of thing that is going to turn some heads at the spaceport...

Getting a Freelancer IFF is much work and it is completely OORP what you have to do to get it.

Mod version is out as we all know.

I'm running The Company (small un-official Freelancer Organization) and I am in a deep need of assistance. We are good on light fighters, heavy fighters, very heavy fighters, bombers but when it comes to a gunboat we get stuck.

I was exited to hear that there would be a Zoner gunboat, so that we could get one of those. Now we've got one. The ''gunboat'' only have 4 turret mounts, a CD, for some reason two mine ports, and a CM. It's little firepower (and armor I believe) doesn't makes it much for a gunboat.
There isn't a civilian gunboat so we cannot get that one.

What gunboat should be good to use, and doesn't ruins any of our Freelancer role play. Should that just keeps us with the Zoner gunboat, or is there another option.

Get the Zoner Gunboat. It's the most in-character gunboat a typical freelancer would get.
