Rheinland and Liberty

Well of you don't know. there is a war between Rheinland and Liberty! (gasp) Personally, i don't know how it started but i herd lots of cruisers that were supposedly "trying" to start this war a while back.

I think Liberty needs more and i think Liberty would win.

rheinland needs more people but overall liberty would win because of the fact of the amount of lawfuls in Liberty.

Liberty has the military forces to fight two houses at once and win (In RP). They'll win hands down, unless Rheinland fights very conservatively and attempts to hold their line for the long haul, then they have a chance, though, slim.

Pretty sure liberty are planned to have an uncounterable advantage in this one.

If you're talking about players, though, liberty has more, but the rheinland ones are higher quality on average. I'd rather no more rheinland players if it meant no bad rheinland players.

depends on if your talking player base or in-game RP as set by the mod designer?

If it's player base, 50/50. Rheinland has better quality pilots overall, but Liberty's got more quantity. and Yes, some of those pilots in liberty are darn good pilots, but OVERALL, in my experience Rheinlanders are better pilots.

If it's RP, Liberty hands down atm would crush Rheinland all the way through Hamburg. At that point though, Rheinland would bear down and fight back more, as they have less territory to defend overall, and can more concentrate their forces at one (or two) points. New Berlin wouldn't fall, but it'd be a disgustingly bloody battle from Alster on down. Hamburg (planet) would fall, as would the area where the Westfalen is (although the Westfalen would move), and a stalemate could occur around either Alster or the Jumpgate.

Rheinland would truly be hurt if Alster fell, because it would only leave Oder as it's main shipyard. Oder would be too small (only one superstructure) to be able to handle ship-building requirements for the whole war.

No one would "win" the war, just like no one's really won the Kusari-Bretonia war, but a fluid battlefield would end up somewhere in Hamburg system.

My thoughts anyway.

Kusari will swarm in and attack Liberty from Sigmas just as they're invading New Berlin in hopes Rheinland will return the favor and aid them against Bretonia not knowing that Rheinland will then turn on Kusari and wipe them out as well.

But honestly, its hard to tell. For all anyone knows, Texas might become Rheinland Territory in 4.86

the SCRA would swoop in and pumel both when Liberty pushes forward. The SCRA and Rheinland sign a temporary treaty, and system ownership goes back to normal.
