Now on topic. As far as I welcome your effort Dieter, as I told you some time ago, it simply wont work. Heck, I wouldnt do it. I have over 9 separate characters and not enough time to play them all. But being forced to play someting else is really dumb.

Its like saying I cant play Rheinland Military char without having ALG trader that hauls only waste and scrap.

I agree with the principle behind this idea - the BAF does need more enemies to fight if we are to keep our large forces busy, though these other factions should rely not have to rely upon our help in recruitment. I would encourage people to try and create new characters in different factons if they can.

That said, unfortunately I seem to have taken on so many roles in Bretonia (I count over 10 different Bretonian characters that I try to RP in game and on forums at present - I lose count exactly...) that I don't think I have the energies to devote to another official player faction right now. I have a BPA character, I could try to expand on him. Oh, and I have an indie pirate in the Omegas that I hardly ever use. I'll bring him out a bit more, maybe I can invent something else if you're really desperate.

I know its hypacritical of me, but I admit I prefer to megafaction rather than metafaction.

Me and my brother share a Kusari destroyer, its an indie... Thats counts though, right?

Well, I have a Zoner trader, a BMM Miner (Saving up for a transport), an indy Gaian. All of which I am enjoying learning. (The Gaian is my first pirate/terrorist/bad guy char, so I have a lot to learn)

I also have a Freelancer, who wanders around a bit aimlessly while he gets his head sorted out and Zoner who is doing the same. I suppose one of these two could take the plunge and join a faction. Not sure which faction could cope with my l33t PVP skillz though! :P (My usual combat technique in big furballs is to rush in, get confused by the whirling dervishes of fighters whizzing all over my screen, lose sight of my targeting reticule in the mess so hit nothing, and then get blown up by running into a mine/torpedo that I didn't even see)

Creating a new char? Maybe - time permitting (My work is mainly at night, especially at weekends, so I get little time then) MR do not appeal to me. All that pseudo Irish talk puts me off. KNF have incomprehensible names but I like their ships. Just not interested in their culture. To be honest, it goes on; no faction currently inspires me to join. Maybe I should step back and look across the board and consider more areas like Rheinland/Liberty that I know nothing about.

I will continue thinking about it and see what comes up.

Hmm, I could turn one of my chars in a different direction.
Let's see my current chars are:
- BAF|Ens.Dave.Silverton
- Two outcast indies named Cobalt Raven hehe how obvious.
- Selene.Ainsworth (Just started working on this char she is a BOWEX trader, she wants to start setting up trade routes with the GC. still looking into it if it would be possible to go past the Kusari patrols)
- And I got an OS&C escort pilot I'm not using very often maybe I can use this char to join one of the Kusari pirate groups (Kiretsu, GC or some other).

I like the idea; I will take a look at it. Will start reading into the possible RP opportunities of the different pirate groups in Kusari controlled space sir.
