Nerf the NPCs, lets become Demigods.

I mean, MY eagle is by FAR better than THEIR eagle.
Why?
Because they are NPCs silly.


Please, we fly ships that are EASILY capable of avoiding NPCs.

If you can't, sweet jesus what the hell are you flying? And if it's a good ship, why the hell can you not bloody dodge?


Honestly, if the NPCs are that bad, how hard is it to fly in circles and talk?
It's not.

If you are in a capital ship and don't like the NPC capital patrols, get out of that space then.
If you can't get out, get some escorts.
Yes, capital ships do need escorts every so often.


If you don't like getting CD'd, get a better CM and again, learn to dodge. (An advanced train can avoid Train CD's even if they don't have CMs, just by turning and keeping their engines away from the missile)


Honestly, if you are worried about losing your precious ship in missions, take a bomber.
If you can't dodge NPC fighters/capitals in a fighter or bomber, how do you even think you will do against real players?

Really, just fly in circles or avoid the big capital patrols (As you should, they are there for a reason remember, House space is not a playground)

First of all, freelancers die NOW!!!!!!!!!!Now that thats out of the way, Magoo, please stop bashing us.YOur free to have an opinion, and i value free speech,And yes some places that are important should have killer NPC's,But the point is( Qoute some guy i cant remember)

I don't want my environment to be hostile to me, and so superior that I cannot survive them. That's not why I play this game. Everytime such an event happens, it detracts from my enjoyment of the game.

If I agree to your points that players and NPCs should be treated the same, please, please, give me infinite power supplies. Do it. Or give the NPCs reasonable limits.

The NPCs may not have the same dodging as players, I personally find them harder to hit, some find them easier. But they are certianly better than players. They've infinite power plants. This makes many, many engagements vs NPCs not fun. Four fighters that fire tizzies till the cows come home? Much more dangerous than four players with similar ships.
PVE should not be the hardest aspect of this game. Ergo, nerf the NPCs. Let us run from them, or make them, at least, have no more powerful ships than we can have.

I like to have fun... over numbering super hard NPCs are not fun... and I don't like to die.

Another thing, if we can't nerf the mission NPCs, can we buff the escort NPCs that come in some missions?

I get a mission in Eta. I get NPC escorts. 5 BSs show up. NPC Allies = Useless, unless against Titans or something of equal class.

Bomber Escort NPCs pl0x?

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,

THEY HAVE INFINITE POWERPLANTS. AND THEY HAVE SHIELDBUSTERS AND BATTLE RAZORS.

Therefore, they are BETTER than our ships. You see, I have to stop shooting after a certain amount of time. Them? They just keep shooting. And they have GREAT aim, let me tell you, those chainfire Battle Razors don't miss you if you're bigger than a bomber (and don't tell me I should learn to dodge, because I guarantee you that 'dodging' is not an option in an Outcast Dreadnought, which should be able to steamroll a pack of LIGHT CRUISERS at close range, because I have a turning radius the size of a planet).

Also, packs of NPCs with 4 Train CDs are kind of a pain. Just saying.

Well... Now everybody knows. I giggled at the FL paragraph though. My day is happier.

I'm not bashing all of you, I'm saying that some of your side's points seem hastily thought up or otherwise ill thought out.

Anyways, Eppy, I've already agreed that the NPC Battleships are rediculous for the shields and if I haven't posted it, the Razors and whatnot are a bit over the top too. The real difference from power plants though comes from, oh, four of them and one of you. The normal guns fire slower, the Razors - individually - prolly don't fire as quickly as what you might think, although I don't have a cap to testify.

Also the aim is how it should be. Any cap ship in this level of sector-wide technology that is worth its salt should have computerized turrets to gun down anything that the computer can predict a flight pattern out of. We've just had the misfortune of flying small planets in a game made for fighters.

Well I can USE HUGE LETTERS AS WELL to repeat what I said some pages ago.

Get admin shield park next to one while being hostile and do the count. Due to their firing scrips they actually fire less often than average player. And dish appropriate damage.


Yes 1600m/s razors do hit smaller things than bombers... which is why they have 1500 m range.... ever tried staying out of it?

I did quite a few mission against BHG Dessies.. and it never failed to amuse me to witness the most brightest tactics put to use by some fellow Corsairs...like charging to 300ms from those dessies to eat every shot...

Alright, Eppy, Yue, Unselie, where are you that the NPC's are owning you, and is it OORP for them to be able to own you in these locations? Also do you really believe that every NPC should be nerfed, like the lawful ones in NY, should they be nerfed, I recall Yue, I believe, saying just the opposite, if this is not what you want could you please be a little more specific if you have not already done so.

Omega 47/Eta, usually. Its corsairs owning me, not 30k from the Hessian base in 47(and right up to the base, too, as the base defenses are only on the ring bit) and -between- Two Outcast bases. OORP for them to be owning me? No. OORP for the Hessians/OC not to be dropping awesome hammers of hurt on those blokes endangering their shipments? Very.

Infinite powerplants/perfect aim (I understand there's a miss percentage, but the fact that X percent miss, and X percent hit, that is perfect aim)...make them better than players..Which is frustrating, to say the least.
