I, bounty hunter, dislike the look of our fighters.

I wrote few lines about my char Elliot.Belt, which i founded after an inspiration reading a discussion about the nature of a bountie hunter. I set him up with an orca first, but now i want to let him fly a nice, strong and godd-looking fighter.

But I really, really hate the design of the hammerhead since my first days on freelancer.
So, I have 3 questions:

1. Can i use IMG fighters/bombers? It seems soIt seems so
2. Can i use a sabre? As I heared, that it is not an outcast ship
3. Any other good fighters? Ah, i forgot, i dislike the eagle too, if you wanna come with that...

Any ideas?

Fly a gunboat if you don't like fighters - other than the Civilian and BH lines, you have almost no other options.

As a Bounty Hunter, a faction with it's own complete line of ships, you should not need to use any other ships. The Sabre is Border World, but it is associated with Outcasts and other unlawful groups. For a mercenary it would be okay, but deffinately not for a Hunter. I don't believe there are any lawful or quasi-lawful bases you can purchase one from.

It seems to me that if you don't like the look of Bounty Hunter ships you're in the wrong proffession. Cause all of them pretty much look the same, but you could always check out the Sea Serpent or the BH bomber.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you there, the BHG line has always been one of my favorites. B-E-A-Utiful ships.

Always the ships I used in the vanilla SP game as well.

If you truly dislike Bounty Hunter ships, maybe you should consider changing to a different faction?

You certainly won't be able to use Borderworld ships, as you'll find Bounty Hunters most unwelcome mostly around those parts which (I certainly hope) makes it hard for a Bounty Hunter to get his mitts on a Borderworlds ship. The BH ships do look rather nice, and additions such as the bomber and new capital ships keep the nice trend going.

As I said, if it bothers you that much, maybe write some super-special RP to warrant the use of a ship outwith the BH choices?

I don't like the BH and Civ series, either.

Just write up a biography, in which you declare a form of remaining national pride or that you were hired by a corporation which gave you ship X for your job (that might mess up your IFF/ID). Of course do a first check if it's usable.

How can you not like those ships? They're so thin and slender, they avoid pretty much all the fire and they're just cool.
