Tonight.

Idea:

I bring my KNF Dessie, it gets destroyed, and my KNF character captured.

He will eventually be freed (doesn't everyone?)

In the meanwhile, because he is the Half Kusari Half Bretonian son of the former Mandalore, it opens up some RP things for me.

Identified Problems:

-"reinforcements" coming in very late on both sides

-independents constantly trying to join the fight

Both KNF and BAF Skype Chats Agree on the above.

So from now on, if I die, I'll come back as my Admin with leet beamin powerz, ok?

Or arrange another Admin Referee.

A referee always helps.

Locking for now in case any heads are hot.

EDIT:

A Clarification:

It's not an indy/faction problem, it's late reinforcement. Just keeps the thing grinding away forever. We used to close off systems for events, maybe that should start again.

So, let's get some gentleman's agreements on how we want to conduct this week's matchup.

First of all, I'd like to propose things that we players can do:
1) No "reinforcements" after the 30-minute mark. The clock starts ticking when the event is scheduled to start, so at 2330 GMT, whoever's in the battle is it, they fight until one side loses/withdraws.

2) If an uninvited Indy player comes along and tries to join the fight, he will be verbally warned to leave by whoever can spare the time to type it out. If he insist on fighting anyways, both sides call a time out, stop the fight, and type out more clear and detailed explanations so we're sure the person understands. As a last resort, everyone attacks him.

3) Clearly define who is allowed to come. Obviously KNF and BAF tagged players of course. For the Kusari side, Hogosha, AFA, and NLH allies should be allowed. For the Bretonian side, BPA, possibly Mollies (would they want to join the fight?), and Bretonian corporations should be allowed. Let's NOT bring in Corsairs or Outcasts. For both sides, a list of indy/unaffiliated players who want to fight for one side would have to be posted on this thread beforehand.

Now, if an admin is available, and are willing to act as a referee, it would be very appreciated. They could officiate stuff like judging if a disconnected player is allowed to get back into the fight, and beam away anyone who tries to interfere. I don't think closing the system is necessary.

I believe these proposals are fair and reasonable. Your thoughts?

Caps? Possibly yes.
I find the fighter vs fighter / caps vs caps thingie really pay off:)
The fight doesn't take hours, the caps are not targeted by everybody and at turn everyone can enjoy a different role.

Uhm..1.5 hours?
