Ah alright, sorry about that, I wasn't in that fight then. Anyhow, not sure what the stats on the nomad bomber are but I think they're about the same as the..kusari bomber thing.

You always make me smile
1 Nomad bomber jousting 5 Order fighters alone and not getting hull damage is "teamplay" ? :lol:

===================================

Nomad bomber is harder to hit than others, but it's not as hard to hit as 4.84 catamaran.

A few ideas to "improve" for you:

1) Against jousting bomber some missile/torp or well placed mine works wonders - neither of your 5 ships had any missile and I didn't see any mines used

2) Jousting bomber without shield is rather suicide-ish, specially those with 2 Nomad Torps mounted.

3) 90% of Keepers survival comes from using endless supply of bots from enemy "reinforcements" = pilots that get insta-killed within seconds and "give" bots to the enemy. Things like unarmored spatials with 270 bots comming to "help".... or dozens of unarmored nephthys....

You too, Martin, often makes me smile. But regardless of your snide and totally useless commentary you so love to feed around it remains often so in general, be that any faction really. Picking targets and such. What you refer is an entirely different thing, but in completely disregarding all the other aspects brings me to the point that you are just trolling here with that post above. Good job at that, Martin. Wasn't that your little silent but pesky camera ship by the way... I have a quite feeling it is. Always there stalking us around. It would be of a better use if it has some fraps material I could use for video mixing. Got some nice music tracks quite fitting.

the nomad bomber is - by the stats - nothing extrodinary. - the only really overpowered keeper ship is the light fighter. - the rest of the line is 100% balanced.

the bomber is a "light" bomber with average turning - a small size, - but its a tube shape - which is generally easier to hit than extreme vertical or horizontal designs.

the nomad torpedo is not as powerful as the minirazor, too. ( and the supernova is identical )

@mjolnir:

hasn t the nomad keeper ID a range of only 200 meters? ( tractor beam ) - compared to the 1500 of the normal IDs.

150 meters is the range on our tractor beam. But yeah, we do get our bats/bots out of instakilling people usually:P

well Nomad bomber is still best of the "light" bombers now, but not unhittable. Anyway the only thing that's a bit out of the ordinary with it is the firing arcs of the torps. Quick fix.

So should I make a Order ID'd Spartial with Tizona Del Cid Turrets, Nomad Blasters, Missiles, Nuke mine, Screamer Mine, and a MiniRazor?

It has semi-invite model to be correct. It's neither "invite restricted" (i.e. you must be invited by somebody in it and/or leader) nor "public recruitment" (i.e. post in recruitment thread and go), but rather somewhere in the middle, not exactly but at times shifting from one side to another and back again.

what i meant is that they are very picky about who they recruit. (unlike some factions....)
