This new version have all the goods prices changed, so have anybody idea about very good trade routes ???.

I know mediocre routes, nothing fantastic.

The route I've been running was shown to me by someone else, and it takes like, an HOUR (40 something mins) to complete once, and is easily pirateable.
close to 20-24mil an hour in a 4.1k cargo ship.

I just did some quick math on another route that takes 15 mins each way, A to B, 24 mil an hour also (of course, more docking means more time wasted).


I wouldnt MIND the huge long 42 minute trip through pirateable land if it was worth more, but its all i can do to eep myself fro slaming my head into the keyboard after trading so far and losing some 4 to pirates.

Well SOMEBODY had to do SOMETHING about all dem pirates in dem outer worlds...

That's the problem with trading now; it takes to gosh darn long to make any profit, and even then it's not really that much..

In 4.84, I knew of a route that could make me about 80 million in an hour, which was great, since trading got boring after an hours worth of it anyways. The route was relatively short, so I could also make little bits at a time when my play time was limited.

But now? I can only trade on the weekends since all the routes are TOO LONG, and the fact that I'm only making like 30 million in an hour makes it not worth it at all. Add that to the fact that EVERYTHING is more expensive now, and you have yourself a game-killer; makes you not want to play FL as much..

Well trading has never really been 'interesting,' even when RPing, because well, all you're doing is moving goods from station to station. There is no real way to make that as enjoyable as blowing up the guy doing it.

But considering trading (and now mining) are the only two real ways of making money in the game, It would be more than fantastic if some viable short runs were added that fit into rp via changing commodity prices at bae A and base B.

I used to trade the Cambridge, Cardiff, Ring route in 8.4, and it wasn't even THAT amazing, but the length was certainly tolerable, and it made a whole lotta RP sense (trading minerals for engine parts for vips for minerals..) but it was removed for some reason. <- sad panda

read the news and the instellar commerce things on the forums they give you good routes. try toronto station with platinum to thames station new london then take mining machinery back. its pretty quick and makes a bit of cash

Profit: 2884 per unit.

It take 32 waypoints.

here is a good one. but you will need to smuggle some stuffs

Perth Station, Edinburg = Gaian Wildlife ---> Furyoku, Okinawa -8856 Profit per (wildlife takes up 4 cargo)
Furyoku, Okinawa = Mining Machinery ---> Fujisawa, Okinawa -122 profit per
Fugisawa, Okinawa = HFuel ---> Luxury Liner Hawaii, Sigma 19 -488 profit per
Luxury Liner Hawaii, Sigma 19 = Synthetic Marijuana ---> Luxury Liner Shetland, edinburg -1771 profit per

with my 5k cargo ship, i make 22,883,100 credits per trip.

also, on your way back from sigma 19, its faster if you go through these jumpholes to get back to edinburg
