Anybody know a good Trade Route at this new version ?

yea yea yea, go discover everything for yourself. blah blah blah. thats why its called discovery. yeah, we know. we all know. but there is nothing wrong with one person helping another person out. do you know how miserably long it would ACTUALLY take if you started the game, with your starflyer or whatever it is. and work your way up to a battleship or someone of any kind of significance, with no help at all? i still dont have much, and i had someone practically hand me a transport, and show me a good route. everyone wants to have as much fun as everyone else, and there is nothing wrong with one person helping another. i dont like how everyone is so greedy all the time. people shouldnt be greedy. theres no reason for greed. if anything, everyone should be more than willing to help anyone out with anything. its is a VAST game. yes, there is lots to be discovered, and there always will be. i was helped, so i will continue to do everything i can to helps others. thats how the world, and this game should be in the first place. know what i mean?

i'm not griping. ok, maybe i am a little. but i'm not griping at you or anyone in particular.
just saying people should help each other. thats a good thing. people working together, instead of against each other. and this forum is an excellent place to do it.

p.s. if you really want to know everything in the game, go download:
Freelancer Companion for trades and best paths
Freelancer DataStorm for equipment, ships, and bribes

but beware, this will ruin alot of the "discovery" essence of the game. especially Datastorm. but if you are trying to accomplish something and do it quickly, those programs will help.

Datastorm will, infact, screw with your fun. Furthermore, many people have started with a starflier and worked their way up. Hell, people choose to do so. See: Lane Hacker player faction.

Yes, datastorm and the other programs sort of suck the fun out of it. I use said programs to ensure that there aren't any foolishly profitable routes going to/from Junker stations. I got a faction to uphold and I want to keep our stations from becoming the new Planet Harris or Diamond-Niobium run.

We had enough nightmares at Yanagi in 4.84.:P

Niezck, FFS. Do you realise how many trading permutations there now? It's taken me a week to go from a noobflyer to a small transport, and that's with the Penny mining nerf. Not that I'm complaining, I like building up from nothing, it's just I don't have 8 hours a day to spend on the game. So what's wrong with a little help?

FL Companion, it is your best friend. With it, you can come up with your own Routes specified for your faction, or just for your own tastes. If you're a Zoner, the possibilities are absolutely endless. Of course, you'll be accused of being a Power Trader:P, really though, theres no greatly profitable routes.

Datastorm and Companion are very useful tools. I recommend that newbies get them, so we don't get these "What do I do?" threads.

Well, I been playing all kind of on-line games, specially MMORPG, and helping, it?s the best. If i?m enjoying been powerfull, why cannot anotherone enjoyign the same ???. I mean, almost every MMORPG have a very long way to arrive to the TOP. So, a little help, will not change it very much. I been helped, much times, so i?ll to return that helping another people...
