Well, I've been thinking. (Yeah, realy.) Gallia's lawfull side pretty much despises the rest of Sirius but still uses their trade lane and Jump gate technologiy. Doesn't seem right. I suppose the Council could have 'smuggled' it in but then why would the lawfuls use it? What I'm proposing is some sort of custom made trade lane and Jumpgate type of thing, with the propper history to go with it. Right now, it just seems wrong.
Pardon for the spelling. Head's a little occupied at the moment.
Seeing as Gallia advanced totaly seperated from the other houses, why do their gates/lanes look the same as everyone elses? Shouldnt they look completely different?
Q: Is Gallia as technologically advanced as the rest of Sirius?
A: Yes. Moreover, in many ways Gallia is more advanced than the other Houses. To achieve technological superiority, Gallia used spies to collect data on various technologies that were used in Sirius. Technology of jump gates and trade lanes, for example, was successfully implemented to build Gallia's own space transit system.
Uhm....the Gate/Lane Parts infocard states Ageria's tech is nigh unstealable. Moreover, its based on Valhalla, which is a heavily gaurded secret...how would junkers(let alone the junkers who even knew about Gallia) gain access?
To be honest, Gallia shouldn't even have Lanes or gates. Lanes and gates aren't a result of human technological advance, nor something that's generally understood by anyone other than Ageria. And since the Gallic NPCs don't actually use the lanes...they'd be fine without them.
At the same time, I don't think we should deny Gallic players the use of Trade Lanes either. Jump gates are less of a problem, but without trade lanes, the house is going to be empty.
Exile is correct. The current storyline behind it, frankly, does not add up and seems like a bit of a hash job. As Unselie added, the Ageira technology is based on a heavily guarded secret that would have required a ridiculous amount of clearance.

I believe the commodity infocard states that Ageira has never lost a box...yet Junkers are stealing them left, right and center? Junkers that, in vanilla, never docked on corporate bases and only rarely landed on lawful planets. Seems rather odd...
Yeah, its a bit shaky RP, But i doubt it would have any members if it had no lanes or gates, they make life easier. But I seriously doubt the junkers with very little technical experience could open the box while Lane Hackers couldnt.

Based on the current story I can see this.. But just because Gallia is in a different area doesn't mean that they don't have access to the same Dom K'vosh technology and couldn't develop the same sort of things. If the technology is all based on the same source it would all lead to a similar outcome, trade lanes that are almost the same. And there is no reason that the Gallians wouldn't have someone smart enough to figure it out just like Agiera did in Sirius. After all the Gallian technology is far superior in every other way.
