Wow, this is the first I've seen of this. Sorry its taken us so long to reply.

I was on during 2 different events with Warhorse.

The first event was an engagement with Zypher, hlmfade and some other guy-Corsairs trying to raid in Cambridge. The corsairs entered from o5 in RH bombers and mixed things up for a bit with GeminiII, a BSG battlestar, I was in a fighter and we drove them out eventually with no losses. Around about this time we noticed Warhorse, who was sitting at Cambridge during the whole thing in his transport unmolested by the raiders, was in a chat group with Zypher's gang. The raiders retreated back to o5 and we camped the hole for a bit (warhorse was shadowing us.) After a wait with nothing happening we left the hole, less than a minute after we left the hole the raiders were back in system. This was repeated at least twice. After realising Warhorse was feeding the raiders ship positions, we ordered him out of the system for collusion with the enemy. He may not have realised he was doing this, but being in a chat group means your group mates can see where your ship is on their map, and since he was shadowing us, his groupmates could see where we were.

We had a valid and real reason for ordering warhorse out of the system that night. As I recal, I was the vocal one at that time and I even gave him a choice, either break his chat group with the pirates, or leave the system.

The second event is already described here. Horse decided to fly around in his nomad fighter and take pot shots at Warhammer. Warhammer killed the fighter 3 times after which horse switched to his trader. At this point I logged off. Review of what happend after I left says that warhorse was taunting Zav (GeminiII)first in his nomad fighter, then again in his trader. From what I've been told, Horses trader was gunned down multiple times because he kept comming back into cambridge to taunt GeminiII.

So here's the thing fellas, when in doubt, act in character. When Warhorse goes from a cocky taunting trigger happy nomad to a cocky taunting trader with no change in behavior, we can pretty well assume the nomad slithered out of his broken fighter and crawled down the throat of an unsuspecting Cambridge citizen to go have another shot at the vigilant Battlestars in orbit.

While I agree the execution of the RP in this event was poor, the overall concept is fine. We have a lot of new people on this server and some of them are in BSG, so we will need time to fully indoctrinate them.

Add to this fact that English isn't Warhorse's primary language and you end up with situations like this one, where he understands about half of what is being said to him.

While I agree the execution of the RP in this event was poor, the overall concept is fine. We have a lot of new people on this server and some of them are in BSG, so we will need time to fully indoctrinate them.

Seems the poor RP started with Warhorse, so BSG's response doesn't seem bad. You can't always RP against someone not RPing.

I was talking with Warhorse today in NY (we both knew that we wern't required to RP in that system), And he was talking about how he would try and change some of the things he had done in the past and I help explain what basically RP was. He was saying How he would try to Do some RP aswell.

It was funny Because at first he was like "So you Rp too? I didn't think that many people did" or something like that. I am going to be leaving some of my chars in NY and Try to help out the new plays 'get' into RP. If we could do this, like the angels are trying so valiantly to do, we could make this place a even better RP server then it is.

Trader ship Warhorse,

I told you that night and I will repeat it now. Your trader ship is welcome in Cam so long as you do not carry over your nomad behavior. After your nomad died 3 times you immediately launched the trader, sat at the gate and taunted Gemini II daring him to shoot you, go to your home and assault you, and hack your comp.

This was poor RP and even then I refused to allow Gemini to destroy you and asked you to stop and leave cam until the situation and tempers subsided. I said it on open chat that BSG does not own Cam and cannot force out traders and lawfuls but encouraged you to leave and not let the situation flare up.

I cannot have told my pilot to leave his patrol post because a trader was taunting him now can I? You were not besieged, not blokaded, not harmed in any way until I gave clearance to vap you because your taunts were becoming harsh.

We have fought several times and never allowed it to become ugly. It pained me that it got out of hand. (OOC: I came to this server and mod ignorant of the RP style and made some boobs myself along the way and since then I have always tried to be tolerant of breaches of RP and try to explain things.)

Your nomad is 'persona non grata' in Cam. That means if it shows its face I will kill it. However, if it is having funding issues I will meet you OOC and assist you. Your trader is welcome in Cam and any place BSG operates and will not be harmed. Good journey.

Play your part and I will do my damndest to ensure BSG plays ours but do not abuse us. We are not here for that.
