I try to set up a Zoner Guard character. I do all the things needed, then when it comes to the bribe task... it screws up.
I can't get anything higher than a SINGLE bribe ANYWHERE on this character and a few other ones. I try at the stations that have max chance to get a bribe for that faction and only bartender gives a bribe. Any other NPCs in bar just have an empty dialogue icon if you hover your mouse above them.
Currently I am max hostile to Zoner Guard and next-to-hostile for Zoners. Trying to get a bribe at Bethlehem which is known for the quad-zoner-bribe ability. And it just fails, there is nothing except for the cursed empty dialogue icon.
I've tried a lot. Switching chars, quitting to main menu and getting back, deleting and creating the char all over again, the result is same. No bribes.
it depends what is your relations with the other NPC's factions that sit at that bar as well... and its a bit a question of luck as well...
so dont give up keep trying.
You have to be at least +0 rep with NPCs in the bar. Try another zoner station. Bribe those faction first to be friendly with NPCs in the bar. They will offer you zoner bribe for sure.
Check if the group that you want to bribe is already friendly. I remember I ran around an hour or two trying to find a zoner bribe before I realised it was already friendly.
Otherwise be a bit OORP, and kill GMG or Xenos. Both actions lowers your zoners rep (GMG more, but that will crap your F8 board), but not your zoners guard reputation.
