Ok, we all know that things/people from Liberty are Libertonian, from Bretonia is Bretonian, from Kusari is Kusarian, and from Rheinland is Rheinlander, but I have seen 2 different demonyms for Gallia: Gallic and Gallian.

Ok, I know some people are unfamiliar with Gallia, but...why are so many people using "Gallian?" There are many topics made by admins that clearly refer to things/people from Gallia as GALLIC.

Not trying to harsh or anything, but I have minor OCD and seeing the word "Gallian" was really starting to get on my nerves.

Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams
Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction
Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid
Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space
Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Liberty and Nomad Backstory, Very interesting - read it!

Thank you, so very much. I was going to make this thread, then my life exploded.

I was under the impression that they were Gauls.

You would refer to the people as the Gauls I suppose, when you would refer to things from Gallia as Gallic.

What about Gaullic? Sounds like things that Gauls make would be Gaullic.

Gallia is actually the Latin name for Gaul, which was the place that the Gauls settled (present day France). While Gauls would be describing people from Gaul, Gallic would be describing people from Gallia. There's a difference between the two.

And I think you could still refer to the people as Gallic. Try using it in a sentence like "Hey, look at those Gallics!" When I say it, it sounds fine to me, like the way you could say "Hey, look at those Libertonians, Rheinlanders, etc."

Gaulish is actually the language of the Gauls. Much like Nordic would be of the Norse. Further, Gallia is actually the greek word for France. No wonder they're not allowed to leave their region. Wiki is fun:
