Quote:The Latin name for Gaul, still used as the modern Greek word for France, is Gallia.
Apparently Gallia is both Latin and Greek.

Yeah and while Rheinlander fits with Gaul, you can't describe something as Rheinlander the same way you can as Gallic or Bretonian.
England English
Finland Finnish
Greenland Greenlandic
Iceland Icelandic
Ireland Irish
Netherlands Dutch (lul)
Switzerland Swiss
Thailand Thai
That gives us a few options. I've seen Rheinlandic around a bit, and it fits. The two demonyms from the germanic countries give us Rheinlandic and Rheinlish/Rheinish. I don't think I'm alone in preferring Rheinlandic there.

Rheinish actually does make sense, but it has to be pronounced differently.
While Rheinland would be pronounced Rineland, or similar to Wine,
Rheinish would be pronounced Rainish, or almost exactly like Reign, as in Reign of Terror.
(Oh, and Thai is actually a shortened version of Thaiwanese. Which doesn't quite fit into the western Demonymalationisms previously mentioned. Then again, most people who write wiki's aren't professionals in their field, and Gaul may not receive the same Demonym system, hence the Gallic, just as one would say Celtic. Then if that's the case, my previous post is completely wrong. Damn you Wikipedia!)
Really? I thought using either Rheinlander or just Rheinland (like Rheinland ships or Rheinlander ships) sounded fine. When I say Rheinish though...I don't know, it just sounds weird to me.

I think it's been determined that people from Kusari are Kusarians. Saying just Kusari leads to some confusion.
