Vista wont allow mod to install

My friend is trying to get onto the Discovery servers. Whenever he tries to install the Beta4 he gets this:

Access to C:/ Program Files/FreelancerMod Manager/mods/Discovery4854beta/DATA/EQUIPMENT/MODELS/COMMODITIES/PILOT_ ICONS/bradmiral.3db was denied

The second try:

He has done fresh re-installs half a dozen times now. Any one good with vista?

And please dont post saying get XP. He knows it sucks, but he cant do anything about that.

Right-click the Freelancer Mod Manager icon, and hit "Run as Administrator"

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

try making FLMM run with admin rights all the time

Hope this helps.

Uninstall everything, and i mean everything. Including all saved games and files. if you already have an account then remember to save the id first. Even writing the account number down and stapeling it to your forehead :crazy: FLMM, FL, FLAM, the mod download the whole shabang :D

Edit : If your using AVG for an antivirus then Tic has a thread on getting it to work with FL online. Ill post it when i find it.
