Yes, its official, and I'm in the middle of typing up its RP now. But I've got a question. What should its loadout be?
I will say this. It WILL NOT have a SNAC. Why? I find it to be more of a military weapon rather than a police force weapon. Plus in RP the Sentinel 300 ships cannot take the power strain.
The police don't own rocket launchers :laugh: Thank God. :rolleyes:
I am thinking of the two following load outs:
Adv. Deb Mk II x2
Vengeance Mk V x2
Vengeance Mk V turret x2
Mini Razor
Nova Torpedo Launcher
Screamer Mines
This load out is a pure combat support role, medium effect against fighters, but can be deadly to light capital ships.
Adv. Deb Mk II x1
Vengeance Mk V x2
Firestalker Launcher x1
Vengeance Mk V turret x2
Nova Torpedo Launcher/Mini Razor
Hornet Disruptor
Screamer Mines
This load out is a hybrid between an interdictor and a medium firepower against capitals, but has a missile backup against fighters, and sub system targeting against capitals and fighters.
So are these load outs ok, or do you have something better in mind?
I'd go with the first alternative. A supernova - nova combo would work, really, but if that's your RP choice, then don't waste the other slot on a CD, unless you plan on making it a smuggling interdictor.
Screamer Mines might have an issue hitting some capital ships.
--Which is why I prefer Nuke / Rippers so I can nail a fighter trying to stick behind my bomber.
Other than that first option looks good.

Honestly though, the only ship i have with missiles is my GRN Fighter now that Guardian's out of well, a Guardian.
have you considered going for x4 magma hammers?
Considering you have no SNAC you're going to have a hard time bringing down the shields or larger capitals, so I think a screamer is a much better option.
I still think missiles reduce a bombers' combat effectiveness. Three guns is not a lot of fire power, especially if they're 8.33s.
In terms of power, the Nova Torpedo is stronger than the Supernova. However, you can roleplay your characters however you want:)
I would suggest 4 Imp Debs (the 650ms ones, which have increased range), a Nova Torpedo, Screamer mines and Train CD. You'll be able to fight gunboats with the nova (if you can use it correctly), the debs and screamers allow you to take down capital/transport shields fast and the Train CD allows you to stop smugglers/etc from running.

I'm not allowed Magma Hammers if I'm accepted into LPI, but, I've not flow with no shield breakers in awhile but I know those plasma weapons are beastly when they hit.
Once I hit sergeant in rank I can use them though.:rolleyes:
