Quick clarification for EVERYONE

While Tank's scanning was fine, we cannot enforce any of our own policies UNTIL Virginia is purchased.

Until then, the only policies we can carry out are those that have been already set out by the Liberty Navy.

Re:Favor

To all my comrades,

We have fought together in several engagements and you know my worth and heart. Some of you may know of my family, osoRojo/TradingCo. Due to need i am asking for a favor. all of us must come together to raise 400 million for our new Headquarters in Virginia. I am pledging, with my fathers consent, 100 million plus to thisendeavor and will have the money-ooc: 12 midnight Texas time if problems 6am plus alittle more. I need pledges from all of you. Every little bit helps what ever the amount you can spare.

Looking forward to your pledges.

My compliments

Comm ID: Thor's Hammer

Gentlemen,

I am pleased to report the commissioning of the Liberty Gunboat, Thor's Hammer. She has been tested under fire and has performed above expectations. Current assignment is the Califiornia system under the South Alliance. Just another reason for the enemys of Liberty to run and hide. As for the purchase of the Virginia system, my wing can not give exact figures, (will consult with my financial officer) but we pledge all in our account when called for. I hope in a small way to contribute to the continued security of this great nation. Thank you.

Cdr. S. Terell

From: Paul Gradinaru
Subject: Fundraising

Greetings Sirs,

It is an honor to be working with the Liberty Navy, and I am very grateful for the contract job you have offered me. Feel free to contact me at any time, and I will be happy to turn over the funds my ship has raised while hauling freight. My ship is called the Eminescu.

Also, if there is certain freight that the SA needs shipped to certain places, please let me know. Thank you.

Paul

Paul,

Hey, how's it going? It's good to hear from you pal, I haven't heard much from you since you made your big break into the shipping industry. I'm glad I could help. Keep an eye out: there's a lot going on in Sirius, and most of it is unfriendly.

Aside from funds, the main need of the SA at the moment is parts to build and run ships: things like Engine Parts, high-temp alloy, H-fuel, and hull panels. We might also need parts to build additional shield generators above our planets: we will contact you with details. Oh, one more thing: for classified reasons, medicine and
alien organisms are also in high demand at the moment. Bring the organisms to Willard Research Station: if you need the coordinates, I can provide them for you. Take care out there, and thanks again for your invaluable service to Liberty!

Subject: Fighter Loadouts

I've been talking with our ordinance personnel, and they've requested that we formulate at least one standard/recommended equipment loadout for our Avenger fighter squadrons. This will allow our pilots to be confident that they are going into battle properly equipped to fight the enemy, as well as simplifying maintenance and rearming procedures for our fighters. I am requesting that all interested pilots, especially those with extensive combat experience, submit their loadout recommendations here.

(OOC: Please make sure that all weapon recommendations stick to our RP and the stated weapon rules of the faction. Also include the nearest place to buy the weapon. If there is any ambiguity in whether a weapon is allowed or not, we should probably sort those ambiguities out: can we say "sold on a Liberty-factioned Base" is a good enough rule of thumb?)

Also, we all could use more training: specifically, combat training. I recommend that all SA pilots engage in tactical combat exercises with each other whenever practical. The practice will do all of us good, and will help to liven up the monotony that long patrols bring. Just make sure that in the excitement, you don't lose track of what's going on around you. We don't need pirates sneaking into California while we play tag with each other.

Re:Fundraising II

My respects,

I wish to thank the Eminescu for her pledge on behalf of the SA. However, Ooc: while hauling in the back water of Kusari space I was wondering. Who is actually in charge of the finances of SA? So far, I have subsidized my own vessel and another for an SA member. As an organization we need some clarity on the inner-workings of our organization. As stated earlier we now have 125 million budget plus pledges of undetermined amount from LNS-Thor.hammer and the crew of the Eminescu.

If we are going to gain Virginia we need to know where we stand as a unit.

Well, enough rambling while on a coffee high. Looking forward to all responses.

Sincerely
Cmdr. RedBear of the LNS-RedBear (Frigate)

P.S. ooc: elgatodiablo, where are the new rank graphics my friend? Looking forward to your new design.

OOC:

Yes, sadly, I am still online. Studying, sort of, for certification as teacher. Anyway, I wish to suggest rankings. As an ex-soldier, and merchant marine, I wish to suggest adopting U.S. Navy officer listings which go:

Ensign [attachmentid=1267]

Lt.jg(junior grade) [attachmentid=1269]

Lt. [attachmentid=1270]

Lt. Commander [attachmentid=1271]

Commander [attachmentid=1272]

Captain [attachmentid=1273]

Rear Admiral (lowerhalf) [attachmentid=1274]

Rear Admiral (upperhalf) [attachmentid=1275]

Vice Admiral [attachmentid=1276]

Admiral [attachmentid=1277]

Fleet Admiral [attachmentid=1278]

Looking forward to response.

Ok, as of 1:58 a.m., yawn, slurp coffee, we are over half way there. Hard figures come from LNS-RedBear, LNS-Alabama, and LNS-Thor's.Hammer having accumulated over 200 million (225 million to be exact). Great job folks.

My esteem thanks. Lets keep it up.
