Okinawa isnt all that far from Gamma as the Mouldy Crow flies. It depends on how you guys want to RP the event.

The Hogosha could come down to Gamma on one of their usual visits, stir up the locals into making a raid.

Or both parties could meet a Luxury Liner Hawaii and decide to move out from there.

And as for what side you will be on? Well just come on the day and I am sure all will make itself clear;)

Oh, and I will be there for the Guild!

OK, I'll park on Gamma and follow somebody:P

No longer active online due to a dwindling amount of non-PvP (trading, pirating, mining, etc.) fun in the new version.

[Sentai-86] send their small stike force to Okinawa, and give back-up to GMG if needed.

Why good trading with Barge? For this:

I at least will be attending for Ronin on the GMG side, I or my commander will post here if we have more coming.

Be kinder than necessary, because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Awesome. Looks like we have participants on both sides that are capable of attending. I'll be there with my ensign char for GMG|. Remember all, this will happen at Isehara Terraforming Platform. It is in orbit of Planet Miura in the Okinawa System.
The goal of the Hogosha and their allies is to overwhelm GMG|'s assembled defence. If victorious the remaining ships will be recorded to assist the developer with results of event's outcome.
The goal for GMG and their allies is simple: Show up in numbers so that we don't get overwhelmed, so jump in your cockpit and head on over to the gathering fleet.
When the event begins I need both sides to record the participants: Name, Ship, ID. These events have a direct impact on the system so we need to keep all this accurate. Thanks
I would also like to remind both sides that the only restrictions are RP-based ones. Any size of ship and any equipment is allowed so long as it is within the RP of your ID and Tag etc.. Numbers are also not restricted. Both sides should also be trying to out-muster the opposition. Tell your fellow pilots to be there because if your side wins you'll be able to say you were there and part of the cause when the next mod version shows the results of these events. ;)

***Opening Transmission****

The Auxium would be there to help. We are on the GMG side. GMG, command us if needed.
Dont worry, the colony would be safe on Gran Canaria.

I'm not a part of this event, and I probably won't be, but I simply have to express my utter shock and dismay that you guys allowed a 16 vs 4 fight.

Only in the LOLest of New York LOLfleets have I ever seen this lopsided of numbers. If GMG wants to host a good event where the results of PVP matter for story progression, give both sides a chance to win. I mean really, what did you think the results were going to be, in a 16 vs 4 battle?

I mean really. In BAF vs KNF fights, if one side has even two more people than the other, we ask at least one of them to sit out, and they do.

16 vs 4

This is nothing more than the definition of PVPwhoring, wrapped in a flimsy excuse of "RPing"

16 vs 4

This win is nothing to brag about. In fact, consider it a black mark against all of you on the 16 side. Have you no concept of decency, of fair play, of giving the other side a good experience? Isn't playing this game supposed to be fun? Where's the fun in a 16 vs 4 battle?

To all of you on the 4 side, I honestly don't know if I could have even agreed to the fight. If it was me, I would have just said "//this is ridiculous, we're leaving" and not participated in this or any future events until this problem was resolved.

Because really, a 16 vs 4 battle is a problem

All of you on the 16 side, I don't care what your "RPing reason" is for this. You can have the best RP reason in the world and that still wouldn't change the basic tenets of fair play.

16 vs 4

You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Well it did happen, GMG won. The result will be posted.
I should remind the Hogosha side to please realize that we got the numbers. The next event will take place at GMG's Fujisawa Mining Facility. This means no Kishiro or DSE. As you may have noticed, Kishiro didn't make an appearance for the one we just did and we still had 3 divisions for a total of 17 ships. I had held back from adding a fourth as I was planning on saving it for Fujisawa to compensate for the one less ally. We've seen hordes of Corsairs in our space before and I kinda expected to see the same with these events a Horde of Corsairs convinced into it by the silver tongued Hogosha behind them. Maybe next time, I want my jaw to drop and know defeat when I see it .
