Ok so the title gives it away kinda, but here is what I had in mind!

We could have the Princess Arielle being escorted through some part of Gallic Space, with her an Armada of GRN Bombers and Fighters Only with the princess flying in say an Armored Luxury Transport of some kind??
Our Aim will be to kill all GRN Patrol ships and kidnapp the princess taking her to some Sector away from sight. As this ambush would be a Surprise Attack the GRN would not have caps with them hence why I would suggest alot of GRN bombers be escorting her, where as we would have Caps with us ready to over power you.
So If the first battle is Lost by the GRN we will Kidnapp the princess take her, then (heres the interesting bit)
the GRN will be allowed to Intercept Us one more time but now with the AID of Capital Ships on GRN's side to rescue the princess. If in the Final battle GRN win they may take the Princess and an Unlawful hostage to which we will be forced to pay a Ransom (Your Prize for winning the Event) to the GRN for their Release. If however We win the Final Battle then we keep the Princess as a Hostage and You Will be forced to pay us a ransom for her Release (Our Prize for winning the event).
The hostage does not have to be the Princess it may also be the Prince or some other high ranking royal.

So what do you guys think ??? I mean i think it would add real Intense RP to Gallia unlike the current battles we already have every sunday, Because now your fighting to save a Royals Life and we are figthing to take them from you!!!

Wouldn't you kill the Prince/Princess/RandomRoyal? Not auction them off for some petty Franks.

Although the overall idea is propper, I personaly don't like the fact that you have a keyperson in Gallic RP under your control should GRN lose. Maybe pick some one which isn't an actual player, some important business man or military leader?

Well You could but then, the Event has no purpose. because it would become another version of the Sunday battle where you win nothing except dead GRN. If we are playing for money and a VIPs life is in the Balance makes things 10 times more intense especially if GRN lose the first Surprise attack with just there fighters they may return with as much CAPs as they like to rescue there Captured Damsel?
This type of event has battle and Suppense all in one.
And yes Using someone of high business Stature like the EFL president or summin would make a good hostage in place of a Royal.

Yeah. Imagine that you actualy win the thing and do something to the princess, I'd either have to powerplay her way back to GRN or we'd have to sell several ships and change the whole way we operate. So yeh, maybe make up some high ranking EFL or GRP kinda guy.

Yeh but we wouldnt do anything to her, coz if we won the Cap battle then we take the Princess hostage and keep her Captive while you pay the Ransom. which you must do as the RP event rules would basically be if you loose you pay the ransom being the other sides Prize.
Whoever gets a captive at the end would keep that captive in their ship til ransom was payed.

The prize itself ie Ransom to the Winning team would not be too much say 20Mill. Hell Id play this thing if we were gonna make 5mill in ransom, I just love the idea of an event like this.

Event does sound good except there is no way Les Vampirs would win, all GRN pilots are well trained

We have trained Pilots, from what I have seen Only a few GRN pilots are actually any good PVP wise! most are not Trained!!!!, but GRN are more powerful as in they have access to better Equipment they have the VHF for one and they have more members so we would be Out Flanked.
So yes this would be a joint event the Marquis will be there to help us, maybe UC and Council could join in too.

so this VIP y'all will be escorting, could you get one of your guys to play it, he could be in a Gallic train or summin?
Of course while any fighting is going on the Hostage will not be fired on even if in our custody so Long as they do no try to Run, which I doubt anyway...:)
