Ok, with all the talk about silent dockers (both lawful and unlawful) I propose the following command:
NPCscan
You would use it in conjunction with the #t command (Targeted vessel)
For Lawfuls: It would scan a targeted ship (#t). If said ship was a smuggler AND had contraband aboard, it would start the normal game mechanics as if the NPC's had scanned you randomly. You get a demand to drop the contraband, if you don't, the surrounding infrastructure becomes Hostile to the targeted ship.
For Unlawfuls: I think it works the same way, Unlawful NPC's scan you, make a demand, you comply or dont. If you don;t they and the base (If nearby when the game mechanics start) become hostile to the targeted vessel.
Thanks for looking.

The old problem: smuggling with a smuggler ID.
Is it possible to hide cargo via flhook?
Example 1: A trader or smuggler full of cardi on his way to manhattan. Near manhattan he use "/hide cardamine", and boom: If you scan him, you see no cadi in his hold.
Example 2: A trader or smuggler full of cardi on his way to manhattan. Near manhattan he use "/camouflage cardi boron", and if you scan him, you see a full hold of Boron instead of cardi.
Make it a little bit expensive - maybe 2 mill or more for a 5000 cargo hold - and make the costs related to the mass of camouflaged cargo. 400 credits for each camouflaged item.
And, make it so, that the hiding or camouflage command should only work for a short time, like 1 or 2 minute. So the smuggler can get scanned, but if his ship becomes entered by police forces for a detailed search (in RP), the smuggler will have trouble, because that time limit is over fast.
Point is, it would make RP more realistic for both sides of smuggling activities: Police and smugglers.
- Prereq: IFF & ID/Guard ID of <faction>
- Costs: 10 million credits (or more)
- One time use only!
- Possibly restriction on the number of times per month per account.
A command to set all faction reputation according to the faction you belong to. Can be only used once per character. Should cost a lot and - if possible - not 'spammable'.
/system alert
-Useful for House Lawfuls such as Police.
-If an illegal susbstance such as Cardamine is scanned, or a player such as a Liberty Rogue is sighted the command will alert all players carrying a Lawful Tag (Police, Navy, Guard etc) of the player's name.
-Having a substance such as Cardamine selected when this is typed in will alert other Lawfuls of the player name and the substance they are carrying.
Helpful in dogfights when long winded sentences will get you killed.

So you know, you can basically do this now, you can even now include your location (in addition to the target name. You can send the message to system local or group chat.
sells all guns with that name every time you dock. Similar to the /autobuy command but this one sells guns.
When i do missions, i would love not to have to sell 28 guns one by one after every other mission, especially when in a group and i dont have to dock for 7-8 missions.
what would be also good is let say you are saying something and you want to include a players name.. according to ur player list on the left of ur screen just type /# where the # is the player from top to bottom of the list..
let say the player list on the left of the hud is
Mike
Derek
[color=#33FF33]John
Sam
Tom
"Who wants to join me and Sam on a mission?"
"Who wants to join me and /4 on a mission?"
so when you press /4 the players name pops up instead.. this would be nice especially when you get the players with the little longer names with the brackets for the factions and so forth.
Another example... trader Derek is asking for permission to land.
"Derek you are clear to land on Planet Huston"
"/2 You are clear to land on Planet Huston"
maybe find a different combination which wont interfere with other commands for /2... #2.. `2..~2... whatever you decide.
At last, user name history would be nice.
Its kinda nice when you can type /history <blahblah> and get the players name changes for the past month.
it would drop all the factions that your ID/IFF are at war with. it would only work for matching ID/IFF. a reasonable cost would be needed.(e 500k-2 million)
this would be nice for us pirates who like killing traders NPCS. (one of my mollys is almost green with corsairs due to the bretonian NPC's that i kill. and this would be vary nice.)
can anyone see any abuse possible?
