I worked the swing shift tonight and it was darn busy. Lots of new folks decided to play Disco tonight. Met some great pilots including: ox.Ace, No-Idea, +65_Leon, Blaze, JNS-Naval_Research_Cent, Kill_On_Sight, Dronakis, Odess, JSF-Tender, and lastly Hitomi_Nakano--future indie KNF.
More helium mining then I care to admit, how to use a tractor beam, how to transfer money, fixed problem with missing ID, where to buy level 4 shield for Rhino (Ames Research), asked if I sold code guns (Maybe I should start), how long before kicked from base idling (10 min), where to mine iridium (Omicron Delta, bluish cloud, C:4-5), helped RepEx get a new man, and some intermediate trade runs to Bretonia.
I did other stuff to bring about peace and performed a few miracles, but forgot what they were for. Scum infection I think.
Was on my Angel from 14:10 too 15:30, helped out a few people, but 30% of the time was just waiting. It's all good though.
I helped xXDragonXx, a new player to the server, gave him some pointers, explained the RP nature of the server, took him through mining, fixed his loadout, donated him a bit of cash to buy weapons so he could do missions, talked to him about faction choices and he said he'd try to join the [LN]
Helped another player, whom I know only the first part of the name, can't remember the second. Most probably cause it started with "Swift*something*".
Talked to him a bit about trader RP, faction choices, explained the creation of multiple chars to him, and pointed him at how he'd set up an independent Order Nepthys.
There was another player, but who had all the strings in his hands mostly, it was just a casual conversation that we had.

Talked to someone who had been killed by an underlevel civ without engagement notice, no pic though so no sanction.
Helped one jumper who was new to the server get enough money to buy a rhino, tried to give him some trade routes but wanted to be sure to give him one a rhino could survive with a class two shield, and i was tired and confuzzled. Server reset and he never re-logged, i told the others to keep an eye out though.
Was a quiet night tonight. Didn't really do much. Met a real nice pilot named StarForge who was contemplating a career change to gas mining.
We explored different ship options and finally settled on the GMG Miner (Kamome Transport). For only 17 mil and a 2800 cargo capacity, the deal was done. So I wished him well as he headed off to Aomori Station.
It was quiet evening and not much was accomplished.
I divided by zero twice and met many new players but all of them seemed to know what they were doing. Yoda was around for a while, but even the Jedi Master himself decided to be on his way soon enough.
On that note, this was a short shift, only half an hour or so.
