Before we can issue any form of visa to yourself, we would need to receive specific details regarding supplies and similar which you were wanting to procure. Due to your people's generally anarchist habits of allowing anyone aboard your Freeports, we like to take every safety precaution.
We would also like to know where you were planning to deliver any supplies taken from our home, as we know that your people often have dealings with states which we are at war with, such as the Corsairs, whom you share Gran Canaria with.
At present we do not dock on Zoner bases, due to tensions with various Zoner-affiliated individuals, tensions with Corsairs, Bounty Hunters and other sorts which use such ports, as well as the inherent difficulties in diplomatically dealing with your anarchical political system, exemplified by your Council of Zoners' approach to direct democracy.
Generally, right now, our access to trained medical professionals is rather high, Mykolaiv Research Station training such experts in various fields to a very respectable level of skill. However, that is not to say we do not appreciate the offer, and should a visa be issued, an exchange of ideas would be most welcome, our doctors and nurses would likely be able to learn a lot from yourself, and vice-versa. As I have never been to your base, I have no clue even what is available for trade nor do I know what you may need so it would be difficult to answer that question. I do understand your not wanting your supplies delivered to your enemies. I can only pledge not to.
My main reason for a visa was to establish relations as we are in neighboring systems. We may have our differences but perhaps developing trust between us may be a good step forward.
And yes, I do think medical exchange could be beneficial to us all. My main profession being in dentistry, I still have much to learn on the medical front having only gained the certification a short time ago. I try to learn and teach something to and from everyone wherever I go. It's part of the hipocratic oath I long ago took.

At present, we are discussing your visa application with intelligence and command, due to a general mistrust of certain groups harboured by many within our governmental hierarchies.
Please be assured that the delay is not for any personal reason, but largely due to a desire for security held by our defence forces. Some are of the opinion that ambassadorial delegations often harbour spies, others resent the large presence of our enemies on Planet Gran Canaria, seeing this a reason to deny an embassy.
However, we do of course see many positives too, and have heard nothing to indicate that you, as an individual, have any threatening intentions.
