if count it's as bug that can't be used in fight then sorry discovery gonna die very soon. cloacked lolwuts on BSs and cloacked pirates on bombers will take over. there wil be no point to fight at all if enemy can just jump in cloack, resupply and come back again.
' Wrote:Well, as someone using a cloak-bomber I can confirm this situation as well.
It seems like the game "remembers" the last target you aimed at, even if it has cloaked. So the missiles, no matter of what kind, keep tracking the cloaked target.
I can confirm.
' Wrote:Nope you need to scan them and keep them scanned for it to work because that's the only way it works
Nope, your nope is wrong.
You can.
Also if you shot missiles BEFORE they cloak, and then they cloak, still follows, is that still considered abusing a glitch/bug?
This is clearly a bug, and since the use of it gives an advantage it is an exploit. The use of an exploit = permaban, therefor file a sanction report ASAP.

over exaggerating things but if you do think that will happen then do close the door on your way out
rather a weak point of a cloak.
I don't see how this is a issue however.
"omg I can't run unseen when they do this"
Zzz...
It's a valid tactic to counter a cloaking vessel.
So you'll have to live with it, because I have doubts anyone of the dev team would bother searching for a solution as there isn't exactly a big problem.
Edit:

Sanctionlancer much?
This is can actually be compared with people that CD their own nukes to make them hit the enemy.
"He's using CD's to make them explode! exploitation the nuke explosion range! He can only use them to directly nuke me!"
it's the same 'issue' in my honest opinion.
Edit: Such reaction actually made me wonder just now if you were sarcastic or not.
My opinion is if it requires you to bring out-of-game knowledge its an issue, if it works with in-game mechanics then it's not.
There's not a general catch-all rule against using out-of-game mechanics either. Things like ramming a larger ship in order to throw off its firing arcs would be sanctionable, and it isn't.
