How bout implementing some into Discovery?:)Could be excellent and funny weapon! Suffering a bit from ammo maximum level, but maybe some alternative can be found regarding that.

So, is it possible?

I think it makes alot of sense. Since unguided, give them slightly larger warhead,and/or larger explosion radius.

I see no use for unguided missiles in fighters vs fighters fights. And for caps we have SNAC and torps

you can just use regular guns for that. thats the point of missiles in the game - they can turn and hi the target if it moves.

They are unguided so no turning... How about giving them blast radius... Like fighter flag.

ya like 30k damage but mosquito speed (500m/s)

then good range and no turning... i like it....

just pure, make it high refire so they become like... spamming weapon, but high energy drain as you must fire them outta a launcher

and like 4k / missile

so then it has epic anti cap but hopeless anti fighter weapon

I do not want them as antifighter weapon unless you can aim.
More of a current unguided missiles on Apache or Hind.

Basically a lvl 9 or 10 launcher named lets say 60mm rockets I
Lvl 9 gun so you can mount it on fighters, 70 ammo per tube, about 6-10 refire and high energy drain, reasonable speed, no turning, blast radius.
And to add more to the effect - thats why I labeled the gun rockets I, you can make launchers I, II, III, IV and mount 4 on your ship, giving you a 280 rockets in your hold. Now that is a fighter capable to hunting down big ships or transports with ease.

Oh and yes, make the missiles hell expensive.

If missiles are unguided they should be called "rockets". As you said its effectiveness is limited by the damn annoying ammo limit though. Besides, aren't destructive missles like Cannonball kind of like unguided? In fighter battles their tracking and turning speed is next to nothing, speaking from experience.

Right rockets. But my aim is really those fast-firing missiles taht you spam on immobile targets.

Make em similar to Starkillers.

You can shoot em, then let it get close and CD it...
