IMG has some nice ppl in it.
Have seen some nice RP from them .
Im just wondering what the IMG is up to.
Seeing most to all IMG vessels I have seen are Traders or Miners.
No Complains so far from me.

Following informations were collected by me.
1.1. The GST has been hired by an unlawful faction or some unlawful factions to smuggle NUCLEAR DEVICES from System Newcastle (Bretonia), to the Omicrons. Implication of the Corsair or the Outcast faction is obvious. Maybe the two of them are waiting for this highly unwanted technology transfer.
1.2. The GST has already been paid 100.000.000$ for this very sepcial operation. Its leaders CEO John Burton and vice-CEO are planning this convoy at any price. Which means they're ready to sacrifice a whole S-Wing squadron to make sure their freighters will reach their destination.
2.1 The GST convoy will start on July 4 3009 from Newcastle at 9:00pm (GMT/CUT+1). I don't need to tell you where they could get these nukes from, normally. But I have no evidence the GST is getting these devices from the Mollys. Maybe they just stored the material on lawful bases in Newcastle. As you all know, there has been some 'security problems' in Newcastle's safiest official Nuclear Devices Stocking Facilities.
2.2. Security Leader of the GST S-Wing squadron will probably be Lt. Takeshi Kitano, piloting a Raven's Talon for years. He is, like GST Security Adviser Lt. Kusanagi, a former member of KNF (7th special unit 'Kagemucha') and it is not sure yet wether he's lost all contacts to some members of KNF Intelligence.
These may be the last and most precise informations I will be able to collect on that operation.
Alas, I was not allowed to participate in this action and will not be able to help you from inside the Convoy.

I find that a bit odd don't you, we have only chased a smuggler into alpha once, and that's because he fired on us first and then tried to escape. But we do keep within our ZOI attacking smugglers and fending off outcasts that come in to IMG space, But in all cases to prove to you that we do not chase anyone into alpha that did not fire on us first, and attempted to run made it though our Blockade. But sadly they wanted to see if they could break it again, and failed. If you people would only drop your Slaves and Cardi, and then leave. All would be well, Only a few of you complied. I hate to say it but smugglers that come into Tau 37, 23, 29, 31, 44, 39, are gonna get stopped and asked to drop their cargo, if they do not then we will kill them.

First off, I would like to point these guys out as a stark contrast to the good Role Play ability of the IMG faction that this thread is meant for.
On the other hand, these Mobius fellows are pretty much saying that chasing anyone into Alpha who doesn't do as you tell them and blowing them up within 10k of Malta is in-RP for an IMG faction.
That makes sense because I always see IMG NPC's in Omicron Alpha chasing down Cardamine smugglers.
And it also makes sense because your ID's clearly indicate that you are to operate in the Taus, Omegas, and Bretonia.
Just putting my 2 cents in since I happened to be talking to the mobuis guys when this happened... you fired first then ran and were hunted down and killed. They say once, where do you get chasing anyone?

Maybe instead of flaming them here on the forums you could have tried a pm. I believe this is for the IMG faction, not mobius.
And on that note, Kudos to the IMG! It is hard to be a mining faction sandwiched in a bloody war and smuggling route and you guys pull it off pretty nice.

I've been hunted down and killed plenty of times before, and had a great time with it because the other players actually stayed in RP and played fair. Check the messages I've left on the KNF and =CR= boards, two factions that have taken me down multiple times- there's goodwill between us.
The IMG player faction is one of the groups that's hunted me down successfully and they do it in a way that all involved have a great time.
So yes, kudos to the IMG player faction; it's just a shame that there are some out there abusing (and outright ignoring) the ID that is used by the IMG player faction.
This isn't about getting hunted down at all. It's about a renegade group of powergamers that flagrantly violates its own ID.
