Yeah, you have to be subtle with it. If you're fighting the police you're doing it very, very wrong.
Basically the difference between hogosha and junkers is that hogosha are embedded across the government. They're rich and powerful enough to either corrupt the government, or just bend their ear enough so that they genuinely think what the hogosha does is okay. Junkers however are disliked by the governments, but kept around because they both genuinely do something useful, and are extremely hard to catch.
Basically, the difference between junker/hogosha crime and other crime is you can't get caught. It's like in real life. You get caught red handed, it's all over. Hogosha get the benefit of being 'actively not-caught' by the police, as it were.
Personally, I find this kind of crime the most satisfying. You can't just go out and do it, you have to work for it, think it through, and make no mistakes. Guess that's why I'm in both factions.
@Finnegan: Well worded and Well put. Especially the last part at the end. THAT is what being a gangster is about.
@Ben: I think that's a good point. Both faction's have the strength to take over their area's, whether it be Kusari or all of Sirius. But they don't use them, because the intimidation of it secures them a place in society it seems. Classic Scenario of the Battleship that always stays in the Docks... Just waiting...

Dragon A and dragon B. You're done in this thread. Adios. Any further posts by either of you will be removed and warnings given. I'm dead tired of the derailing -DL
On a final note for tonight, I will say that I think someone should seriously consider creating a Junker Mafia faction, and if so, please drop me a line and I'll try to help out ^^

Really, the only thing that stops either faction taking over Sirius is each other. Other factions just aren't equipped for it. Lawful forces can't shoot them up because they're rarely found breaking the law, freelancers will find themselves being arrested for attacking 'civilians', pirates would find themselves hungry and/or broke if they cut ties, etc etc. But of course, they'd only 'take over' Sirius in their own way. Both factions know what they're about, and if they push it too far either way, it all falls down.
Alot of people seem to like this idea... If anyone is going to start it feel free to go ahead and take command. Even if you just request to me that you want to continue on the idea, I could probably get an admin to transfer the topic to your control if possible. I can tell you right now, I would definately be a mercenary for hire for a faction like this.
