I thought about what would a house at the embargo line do with this kind of good? Human Organs.
They are needed, on both sides of the war. Arguments like "You wont get past, because you may heal a soldier or a Civilian who might sign up for the enemy army" wont count, since I believe the Sirius houses have a signed treaty about human rights.
The use of mass destruction devices is already forbidden, so the human rights will also be written down somewhere.
Now my question is, if the Military and Police of houses, should block the Human Organs at the embargo lines like normal food, or let them pass with the proper papers. (Roleplayed)
The roleplay part of this is the main point of question. I barely see smugglers hauling human organs, mainly the Slavers do.
Since a Slaver is almost the same like a Smuggler (a normal Civilian unless you find contraband. If youa re able to identify humans as slaves or jus passangers is another discussion.),
they can talk their way out of certain RP encounters. Human Organs are not contraband, so it is even easier to haul than slaves.
With the proper RP, Human Organs should get past the embargo line.
Now another concern raises. The ammount.
3700 Human Organs? Who would ship such a large number of Organs? 1000 sound already too many.
On the other hand nobody would just haul 1000 of them, since we cant focus on the RP part only.
Traders trade because they mainly fund their chars with it. Same goes for Smugglers and Slavers.
Make only 1000 legal would leave them no choice to be an embargo runner, so the houses could just say it is embargo stuff and may not let it pass.
In my opinion it depends on the RP behaviour of the Trader/Smuggler/Slaver.
If they come up with some (believeable) RP about where the Organs come from and where they are shipped to, it should not be a problem to let them through.
More RP to the Slavers/smugglers?
Tell me where to sign.
So my question is, what do you think about it?
I already asked in the Rheinland leaders chat, but I was soon able to see the complexity of this decision.
Also I dont want to come up with new Rheinland laws, restricting traders/smugglers/slavers even more.
Especialy when the laws make no sense.
This human right thing is indeed something to keep in mind.
Hopefully getting a few new ideas and impressions.
Supposedly they should only be legal for Cryer personnel to transport, as only they can be trusted to have them kept in laboratory conditions. So anyone else should possibly be breaking the law anyhow.
Now, what if a Cryer transport were carrying them, well they are in part a Libertonian company, though they have spread their wings a little and are now less-house-defined. They may be carrying them for experimentation or to a hospital. I guess in part it's dependant on the destination and purpose of the organs as to what action is taken against them.
I'd let them through if they had dencent enough RP to explain them. I disagree with the numbers though. If you take Rheinland/Liberty for example, millions and millions of people live in these two houses. You could very well need 5000 organs to keep up with the 'demand' of war injuries, normal human life etc.

Are there any decent traderoutes for Cryer to take Organs? Right now I dont believe so.
It seems to be mainly an unlawfull route since as an lawfull, you wont find any goods to get to the places where you take the organs from. Correct me if I am wrong.
I also would add the Researcher ID. They may need the Organs. For whatevers purpose.
Ok Agreed on the numbers. Organs are indeed needed in large numbers, especialy during war.
Cryer is a bit a Corporation non grata, in rheinland in any case, but i beleave all Lawful coorporatiuons should be OK hauling Human Organs.
They all got a government looking up their books, so a policeman can assume they are legal, and noone had been murdered to "produce" them.
Cryer traderoutes flit between lawful and unlawful with no regards to your personal safety, but there are a few decent routes for organs* (From Atka and FP15, to Curacao, Gran Canaria and Kabukicho (somewhat dodgy on the last one)). Those routes actually aren't bad at all, the leg to Kabukicho is actually one of the best runs I'm aware of, definitely the best one I ever do. But yeah, there's only really the two lawful export points and a handful of lawful exporters.
As for goods to get to the lawful exporters of organs, they're both mediocre-to-good deuterium importers, but yeah I must admit Atka is a real slut for contraband. Gaian wildlife, counterfeit software and slaves are pretty much its major imports. But there are lawful importers close by that you can use to get back to Atka. (Kurile <3 neon, the Hawaii likes Pineal Amulets (yeah yeah, pineal amulets is weird for cryer, but god damn shasta is the end point of literally the only good pharmaceutical run in the entire game))
As for researchers, it varies. I mean researching some organs, fine. Researching 5000 organs? That's like those dozens of whales Japan kills every year "for research".
But yeah, I think it's mostly an unlawful commodity, since Cryer has a clause in the ID explicitly saying it CAN carry organs, which implies others can't. Then again, it also has one about alien organisms, and who ever got arrested for those in Disco?
edit for tigh: yeah, Cryer also doesn't really have much business being in Rheinland. It's a Liberty company, it has a very sour history in Rheinland even before that, and the traderoutes have all been engineered, as far as I can tell, to never lead to or through Rheinland (except some naughty smuggling)
*being a lawful company, as I understand it, we can haul illegal goods but can't touch unlawful bases?
P.S. oh my god, so many brackets. And to think I have an english degree.
