So, say, you attackamised something too much, took the wrong bribe, nuked too many npcs by accident or just screwed over?

I'd not mind this, would find it pretty useful. And Ash, if you try hard enough, you can achieve that abuse many other ways as well.

I'd be for this, all in all. Potential for abuse, just like every other similar idea, but it seems great for fixing many annoyances.

Whilst I dont like this idea, I think a modification to the droprep command that allowed you to specify which factoin got dropped would be useful

/dropfaction Corsair for instance? I would find it very, very useful since I'm about to alter a few characters quite heavily.

1: Why make a repping command cost money? Will reduce oorp acting and talking. If people may abuse it (go as smuggler in one trade route direction and police in the other, although I doubt that ever happens, make a minimum time delay between repping commands)
2: I heard IDs can affect reputation. Why not (ok if its not possible to program it...) make a free represet command that gives you the 'Ideal' rep according to your ID? That way you could still ajust your rep otherwise with missions and bribes in case you absolutely have to.
3: Is there a ay to make guns and equiptment unusable if you are hostile with that faction (rp explanation would be: player cant have it repaired). I actaully like that idea.. make guns that are contrary to your rep impossible to repair, like they are impossible to buy right now.

unrelated, but:
4: there was a string about 'the no cruising to catch up' rule. Since some may have missed it: a lot of people thought it was a good idea to make cap ships very slow to reach top cruise speed (slow acceleration or engine spoolup), thus eliminating the lawyering abour cruising to catch up

Maybe not necessarily free... consider it a registration fee... for telling all the factions in Sirius

The lazyness of one's mind and body must be dealt with taking away what it had the time to accomplish. In this case your credits.

If you want it free, remove the cost from in game rep bribes.
