What was technical purpose of those tubes? Did you put them on for looks alone or did you have a ship construction reason for them? I only ask because if you can answer that, it might help you decide what other features the ship may need.
Quote:still not entirely sure I like the tubes, but it might look better once I get it textured.
I think the tubes are ok, texturing would make them look better but I also think you should maybee change the position of some of the tubing otherwise, as kindred said, itl look like a bumper ship.

I was going for a steampunk design theme, which tends to include a log of gears, cogs, valves, tubes, etc. It's for looks, mostly.

However, I would like to see a sort of 'steampunk' design put into them... lots of piping, rusty textures, valves, gauges, etc. The idea is that junkers in gallia, while they are more 'legal' and on better terms with the government, are not as heavy into smuggling as they are into salvaging and merchanting.
This looks like a slicked back roadster which has a bumper around it, the sort of ship I'd slap a junior racer into. It doesn't carry much in the way of steampunk nor a "salvager" craft. In fact I've no idea how one would prefer the ship over a collector/CSF/CSV to this ship for purposes of salvaging.
Furthermore, something to keep in mind is the ship you're remodeling.
1) The ship has 4 class 9 2 class 9 slots.
2) It has a torp slot and a redundant CD slot. Consider adding a cannon of some kind to serve as the "torp" slot, with another for the CD.
3) Consider adding a redundant engine vent on the ship in which to place the after burner, this is an effect that very few bother to try.
4) Remember that the ship needs something to, you know, salvage with. The notes above are from your recent request for a new Junker ship, the vessel you provided does not fit that.
5) Put in a few sturdy spots for the mine dropper. Most people just slap it wherever next to the CM dropper, if you were to try to put it on the tail of this ship it would raise some questions as to ammo feed XD.
Considering one of the reasons you wanted to embark on this venture was to differentiate Junker ships in Gallia from those of Sirius I'm not sure that you're going in the right direction. The very first glance at the ship said "Junker", not because of its utility, but because of 90% of its design.
I'd suggest re-thinking the concept.
Harsh, I know. But too many peope spam this forum with "looks good would fly", something constructive now and then is a nice change I think.
