I like the wings in the back... Given the strong aeronautical inspiration present in Gallia I'm somewhat reminded of some of my favorite birds, namely the WWII bombers of old and the modern A-10.
So much so that it led me to my next thought.
In Gallia the design tendency is to remove fuselage molded engines in favor of pods. I would suggest thinking of following this design tendency and adopting something similar. If you removed the signature Junker "engine" which you currently have in use and go with something a bit more, say, A-10 ish you'll remove a large part of the look associated with Sirius Junkers.
Furthermore the Bulldog model has two engines, so that would ease some of the hassle in changing model hardpoints.
To that end I would also suggest reinforcing the bulk of the rear foils, making the side attitude controllers more robust in addition to the struts supporting them.
Next, the cockpit is either going to be far too large or the ship far too small for the current setup of torp + CD + guns. In fact at the moment it looks like it's barely coming up larger than a Liberator. Given that a resize might/will be required down the road for purposes of balance I would suggest thinking of changing up the cockpit to something which will not, following addition of transparency effects, leave the pilot looking as naked as that one will. You don't want to end up with a Firefly type cockpit with a huge cavern with some sad sot sitting in it like a lost legoman.
Furthermore, altering the cockpit will further remove from the instant impression that it is a "Junker" ship. Given that the vessel is supposed to have a measure of utility I would almost suggest a unique cockpit design located squarely in the front of the ship. Something allowing for a far greater field of vision 180* around the pilot.
Well dusty, I already changed the engines before I saw your post =( I might change them again, more pictures coming soon.

Keep in mind that in current junker ships like the collector, half of the cockpit is empty. The vehicle looks like it could seat two pilots, when only one is inside. I might be able to make the back half of the cockpit solid though.
I like the look of the Current Bulldog thanks very much no need to make Junker ships looks worse. I am sorry but this ship just looks like all the other models that Junker ships have, and having the Bulldog is the only great looking ship we have. Sorry if you spent lots of time in making this replacement, but its a epic fail in my book, I vote to keep the current Bulldog its hot. And the replacement is not.;)

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, but the opinion of the Legacy players does not matter. Now, out of my thread. Vamos, Shoo, Scram.
The fact remains that the bulldog is an import, and eventually all the import models are going to be replaced.
It's got the torpedo launcher on the right side of the cockpit, a salvage arm on the left. Tried to make the cockpit look smaller, but due to how the interior of the cockpit is modelled, it may not be able to have transparent windows.
Remodelled the engines - the two larger engines beneath are the primary engines, while the smaller one up top is, as dusty suggested, for the thruster hardpoint.
I'm still not entirely happy with the rear end, and it needs more detail added still, but I'll continue working. Any other suggestions?
What about if it had some of those wings like the Civilian Gallic ships have? Something like the upper CSV part on top of one of those?
Well, to better explain. You know the hexagon part on the base of the CSV with the flaps of a yellowish color? Basically, the frame above there welded on to a Sunbeam without its cockpit area.
Looks like a pretty awesome model. Though the cockpit looks far less Junkerish now I think, can you put more of an angle back into it? It just feels a little too streamlined to be a Junker ship.
The grabber arm can also hide the CD. Plus a class 2 turret on top for the mining laser (scrap).
My feeble mind continues to cluck at the aft pylons and winglets. They're an interesting feature but lack much definition. I can assure you from a hitbox perspective that making them more robust wont increase the vulnerability of that vessel much. Either straight up and down as they are now or at a / \ I feel that they should be more emphasized, which goes for the bridge as well.
