It's a good job my laptop reached its thermal shutdown temp, because I ended up not wasting my time ingame waiting for an RP response instead of //LEAVE ME ALONE!
The question on everybody's (read: my) lips is... if you want to be left alone, why don't you log off? Or if not, why dont you dock, do your talking, undock before you get kicked, dock again and repeat the cycle?

How exactly would Harvester 24 dock and where in Kusari Space? There already has been an issue with it even going to Hokkaido, the nearest location that is supposed to be friendly to the Faction it's assosiated with, something Dab should be aware of already.

Would you complain any less if people were ganging up on you? Making light of the RP you enjoy and work hard on for as long as you have? Exactly what was the complaints he was making? What was the reason it went into House sapce to begin with? If the ship was truely 35k above the plane, just how did anyone see it to be found in the first place as we all know here that sensors do not detect anyone over 14km away.
I know I saw something in the announcement by the Shadow Outcast Brigade, but it now appears that posts have been removed from that. Is that is the source of this most recent problem that is going on and no one is trying to work it out to improve the RP rather than turn this into a flame fest against one player?
That is what I am seeing here. Pure negitive comments, riddicule and persicution of the player. It is not unreasonable that he would be reacting with a comment like Leave him alone. There is more to this than is being said I am sure. Who else was directly involved that will comment in a non-negitive way to fix this?
Also, I think I should point out that that would be re-engaging if the Kusari were within scanner range, and that the BS doesn't dock, things dock with the BS. If I were 35K above the plane I'd expect not to be chased down and shot either.
I've had nothing but good experiences with 24. I saw a green Harvester cruising through Alpha one day way back when and went in group, and I quote, 'WTF O.O,' but I've really come to enjoy having it around. It's an interesting idea that SOB ran with, and although I was a little put off by the transfer of its core to a Sarissa at the time I've come to a realization: It's one of the most in-RP Outcast Battleships we have, and it's not even an Outcast. AI>Lulcap. 24 can come and not have a sense of humor/malfunction with my Sabre any time it wants.

2 SOB were rping fixing its programming. When I RPed that I wanted him to take his experiment some place where it wouldnt kill Outcasts, the SOB engaged me because I 'refused their orders'.

You know... that AI cruiser.. its all good... it shooting other Outcasts with no other reason that they got with in 3k... all good if its done in RP... SOB attacking me... all good if its done in RP.... accusing the adversary of shieldrunning in system chat while the guy that is almost dead stays inthe fight to shieldrun just so the other guy wouldnt have to face me alone... its all good... I never complain ooc when Im outnumbered.
What is really bullcrap is that some people cant end a fight without insults and rule lawyering.
I got no problem with the AI OC dreadnought. Why not? Its only fun.
To this I would like to reply,
Yes we were RPing the reprogramming of 24, because I had liquid cardi in my hold for my own RP and he was curious to what is was. This scrambled his current programming.
You decided this was a bad idea. Though in our opinion it was good RP.. though unexpected.
Then the RP with you disobeying commands that was good.
But when you decided to open fire on the other SOB when I was the one who shot you.. and the other was sitting still half AFK. Then everything went down hill from there.
With the shield running, the words "shield running" are not OOC. The other SOB was just dodging, while still firing on you, this is not shield running. When you get your shields knocked off and you take off in a straight line doing little circles like you are trying to escape a battle, and just as your shields get maxed out you turn around and fire, as you did, that is shield running.
And also, 24 is in an OC Battleship, not a dread.

Well for this I would like to say, with everyone going OHHHH NOOOOOS THERE IS AN AI OC BATTLESHIP NOOOS... how do you expect him to RP. If you guys would calm down for a minute and let him be you would find out 24 is an amazing roleplay that has been going on well over a year.
If you don't believe this read the biographies and stories of harvester 24.
The reason he was even around the zoners is because of the original roleplay from the harvesters.
All I am saying is stop making a big fuss over it because it is something new and give him some time to show his roleplay.
The (* 24 shows up in Alpha**random OC* KILL IT, ITS A HARVI OC BATTLESHIP, DIE!!!) is getting old.

You mentioned how you enjoyed 24 while he was a GB. ( many of us did) then you said once he got the dessie rp started going away. To this I would like to say, pretty much the WHOLE time he had the dessie he was out at sea, for 6 months. So how could you of made this assumption so easy?
This leads me to another point.
He was out to sea for 6 months guys. He just got back and is trying to get this role play going again. Give him a break instead of this constant whining from everyone as Cind has mentioned MANY MANY times give him advice. That is all he asks.
Also, thank you Eppeh, Taii, and Hyung Soong. I'm glad to see a couple people not on the negative side of this.

For whatever its worth, I've had nothing but good experiences with H24.
I trust his RP ability. It may seem odd, "or oorp", but just stop and think for a minute,
instead of reacting to the violation of your idea of "proper RP."
Do some forums searches on those people you encounter instead of just assuming they are "oorp".
Edit: I have not experienced the below when encountering H24.
Take that into consideration about my comments.

I'm inclined to agree. If you need to leave, either log, or don't go into a hostile system first perhaps? And then if people do find you looking for RP, perhaps not lots of // styled insulting and complaining?
If a player OOC's:: //Back Off //Leave me alone //Give me a minute, I am dealing with PM //OMP, I got an Admin in PM or whatever, then step up and be the bigger, better RP player and lay off the other guy.
It is not that hard unless your just a PvP whore and all your after is PewPewPew & a cheap kill.
DiscoveryGC keeps claiming the line 'Role Play first', then lets start seeing some.

As for the rest of it, this just another example of Don't trust anyone in game.
If your getting swamped in PM, tell the people to deal with you in forums PM or skype. The game is just not designed for indepths PM's.
Second advise is : Don't stop cruising. If your 35k above a planet and parked somewhere while your sorting out the latest B**Sh** in PM's, you already made yourself a sitting target. Keep that cruise engine on & flying. Fly straight up, straight down, fly off the map. But being above a planet ,sun or station is too old of a trick now adays that it shouldn't be completely trusted.
Next, do you got more than one person screaming at you in PM??? Then invite them to a group.
One reply is now sent to many other screaming players. Maybe everyone involved can then hammer out what-ever-the-current problem is and move on with life.
Beyond that.....It is just a game. There are some people of the 'community' who have it in their DNA that they are not happy unless they can inflect pain, suffering and misery upon others. --- That their daily goal is to take a **** in your cup of coffee. Most of these people can be spotted easily by their Hundreds of negative posts and nonsupported attitudes.
Just don't allow yourself to get baited into discussions with these spoilsports.
Expecting fairplay and logic from them is like expecting kindness & sharing from PsiStalker : It's just not gonna to happen.

That's the point.. Why did he go to Kusari in the first place? Why didn't he fly to Tau-31? Fly off to the middle of nowhere to get away.. No, instead he flies into a house full of people ready to hunt him down and shoot him, then he complains when it actually happens..
I'm quite aware of the situation in Hokkaido. Did you know that AFA kicks out just about any Corsair they find in Kusari? We kicked out an AI BS that wasn't responding to any hails, was disobeying direct orders not to keep attempting to dock to Ainu, then threatened them because they asked why he was there.

Actually, I would complain less. If I were ever to take -any- battleship into Kusari without prior permission of the KNF, I'd expect to be hunted down and shot to pieces. Don't you think RM would hunt and destroy any Corsair Dreads in Rheinland? Liberty to do the same to Outcast BSs? Is it really that difficult to believe KNF doing it to an OC BS? Is it really hard to believe the Zoners chasing it after it opens fire on them without provocation?

Because four years of experience in chasing has at least taught me to scout as much up and down as on the plane? Basic scouting technique. When you're directly above a JH, you're just as likely to get caught as if you were 35k to the left of a JH.

Maybe those negative comments aren't because we dislike someone, but because we dislike his actions and have seen little to no RP from him in-game? I've been party to situations involving H24 on Skype 3 times, and this last one I was there to witness it myself. He's taken an OC BS after a couple GMG fighters, after 2 Mobius fighters, flew into Hokkaido and then didn't respond to any hails from the GC players there, or explain his reasons for being there.. And threatened them..
Then last night he shows up in Baffin.. I wasn't there to see the metagaming about attacking the stations that I heard about through group chat as I was heading there.. But after I did get there, he showed up in scanner range, stopped at 12K, made some message about charging his weapons, demanded Nomads from my hold, then went to cruise. When we followed to make sure he left as per instructions, he fires on my Carrier (no warning) and starts rule lawyering for the next two hours..
Maybe the negative comments are bred from the negative actions he has taken in-game?

I agree with the comment that he is all pew pew and no RP now.. Because of the 4 situations I've heard about him, including the one I was there to witness, I've seen plenty of pew pew (like a BS going after 2 VHFs..) and have YET to see ANY actual RP from him. If he has such a great RP, he needs to show it in-game. The biography and story is useless if all he does in-game is shoot things. The negative opinions are a result of his actions in-game. Take that into account.

The issue here is that Harvester 24 was the one MAKING those PMs. He had been PMing complaints and rule lawyering to a ton of players through PMs, half the time towards a person other than the one he was complaining about. Discordian.Colony even had to tell him to shut it, several times, at which point he just started complaining to someone else.
H24 didn't need to have time to respond to PMs, he wanted to be left alone to continue his whining PMs. And even then, KNF/AFA gave him around half an hour to drop the pilots. Generally I see them blow someone up after 2-3 minutes. He has no right to complain about their actions.
Doug even got on and tried to RP with him and work everything out.. Ended up leaving fed up with him and his whining as well.
H24 was given the benefit of the doubt by just about everyone who encountered him last night, and what did they get? Insults, whining, and a ton of OOC.
When one person is angry about how he was treated, and 20 people were angry about how he acted, who do you think was the problem? All 20 people who interacted with him, or the one guy that ended up pissing off twenty people in a span of 2 hours?
