Don't worry Gloucester, I don't think youre being mean. It's a legitimate thing youre saying and I've acknowledged it as so.

However, aside from LR, XA, and VR, there aren't many active Liberty groups. I barely see Hellfire Legion people on lately. At least not in what was in the past. What I'm trying to do is add a bit of variety besides the usual scenario:

Pirate takes down lane
Pirate pirates several transports
LN/LPI go kill pirate or get killed themselves
Rinse and repeat

In other words, Liberty has become very stale. There isnt a lot of variety besides the cops versus robbers. In Kusari you have maniacal matriarchs, a mafia, samurai style rebels, and crazy farmers. All of which have been touched upon by already established factions. Rheinland has variety as well, although it leans heavily toward left wing movements. Bretonia has the Mollys, the Gaians, and the war versus Kusari gave birth to the privateers not to mention Leeds is a real battleground.

Liberty has over 2 dozen different factions and groups that come looking to own the lawfuls. There are just too many.

Liberty has plenty of action, perhaps you need to adjust your time that you get on to see it. The Rogues have counted about 30 different gunboats from other people that show up..

I also agree, this is another rogue faction.

It's conceptually different than the Rogues. This is a Communist Terrorsit group a la Red Army Faction. Rogues are essentially criminals. It's more in common with Xenos.

And yes I've noticed the large amount of pirate gunboats. As my original post says, there will be no capitals of any class including gunboats, will be using exclusively civilian line ships and equipment. We also aren't going to park on a trade lane and hold everyone up as that's against our MO.

Also, I can't see how half of those you listed should even be in Liberty to begin with. I will enforce strict RP, and since I'm not allowing gunboats, you don't have to worry about that.

Yeah this kind of seems like either a Rheinland group thrown in to Liberty, or just a Rheinland take on the Xenos. And yeah, Liberty does not need more players, at all.

As much as there is tons of negative views here, I for one find this group an interesting idea. Not much stuff like this happens in Liberty, and it is sort of logical considering how right over the border the nation that is being attacked by your nation is already in a state of nigh open revolt among many different groups who all work together to bring down the government. Then you have the SCRA who used to conduct very frequent forays into Liberty, but have since started focusing on reclaiming the Omega systems and fueling the revolution in Rheinland.

Considering how a major source of funding for unlawful Rheinland factions spreads right into Liberty (blood diamond smuggling, funds pretty much the whole lot of them except the Bundschuh perhaps), chances are news of their efforts would too, and with the large population and unemployment problem that Liberty has, along with the view of Xenos as criminals... well, I wouldn't put it as unlikely that a group such as this would emerge.

I look forward to seeing you guys ingame.

Effectively, all of the Houses in Sirius are replicas of their nations in the 30s.

USA: Becoming superpower, possible Depression, also mob crime and xenophobia.

Rheinland: Descent into fascism, beerhall putsches, various uprisings.

Bretonia: Decline of Empire, loss of control of Dublin.

Kusari: Imperial era

Hispania: Spanish Civil War

You might want to look up and see Blodo saying it's a good idea, Blodo being a senior member of the SCRA.

I, however, make the argument that the left has no place in Liberty at all. Rheinland and Hispania, yes, Bretonia and Kusari, to some extent.

Comparing Outcasts vs Corsairs to what actually happened in the Spanish Civil War is so wrong I don't know where to start.

Anyway, your theory falls short. There were no matriarchs in Imperial Japan, the British have been losing territories since long before the 1930s, Nazi Germany utterly destroyed every left wing movement against it (as opposed to the healthy number in Rheinland), and there were small left wing movements during the depression era US, not to mention many people actually went to the Soviet Union looking for work.

As I said, I'm trying to bring variety to Liberty aside from cops versus robbers.
