Well, all truth be told im looking to retire into a familiar job that can still give a bit of rush. Security or Specialties maybe. I have spent most of my life all over Sirius. I'm more than qualified to handle anything you throw at me.
With that he threw her a slightly suggestive wink. And he spoke in a calm, experianced, very confident tone, despite the obvious spirit in him. He was old enough to have lived quite a bit, maybe late thirties or early forties. But looked a bit younger than that, betrayed by the salt and pepper color of his thin stubble and the extensive scarring.

"A bit of a rush huh?" she asked, her lips seeming to bulge at each word. She leant back slowly, crossing her ankles and rubbing them together slightly. One of her black heels peeked from behind the desk, and she fiddled with her necklace for a second.
"So which division are you most interested in Mr Whipperwill?"
He stepped around the chair and sat down, he knew everyone kept the guest chairs in their offices lower than their own, looking up at her felt slightly awkward so he rached over the side, letting the chair rise so they could speak more evenly.
Well. The feeling of the cockpit of a fighter or the bridge of a ship is as close to home as I've known. Defence sounds like a great option for me. No way in hell im going back to the trading sector...

She glanced down at the desk again. There was something about his eyes... something that burnt right through her. She could feel the fire within him starting to build. Was that her or the thought of a job again?
Now what to do with him....
She watched to see if he would willingly leave the office.
"Am I that obvious these days? We'll I suppose thats to be expected from lack of practice. What positions do you have open here. I believe I can be as useful to you as some space jockey looking for 'blues'."
After this he leaned forward and propped his hands on his knees, almost whispering.
"And I promise I'll be a good boy and follow all orders"
He winked again and leaned back, the handsome grin still on his lips. From the start he knew he had her figured out, strong, a good leader, and undoubtedly beautiful. The small number of pictures on her desk told him she could be no nosense, but the very fact they were there showed an emotional side. And the showey outfit and slight smirk gave her a slight air of... spunk? Mink was starting to really like this girl.

Background: I have been a trader sence i could remember. Even as a boy i sold things for more then i bought them for, always trying to turn a profit. As soon as i got my own ship i began working as a trader captain w/ the IMG and exploring the farthes boarder worlds. I got my start at Falkland Base in Tau 37 doing small missions. That granted me rights and funds to purchas the Atlas my prized possession.
Why IMG: With the corrupt nature of most large Corperations I feel my wealth and opertunity is sucure with the IMG. I also feel the growing power of the IMG will give me a good sence of sucurity for me and my family.
What i belive and what the purpose is: I belive the purpose of the IMG is, and I quote " To strike and maintain the proper balance between the profitability and welfare of its members and thier families" I myself belive that to be very true and worthy of my commitment. I also belive the IMG strives to become a great faction of power and moral beliefs maintaining its independence among the Sirius.
Bringing to the table: I belive i can bring wealth and protection to the FREE people of the IMG and thier families.

Concerning your application, we take pride in ourselves for providing security and wealth to all of our members, as well as their families. You have made a wise choice in applying with us. I also see that you pretty much started off your career at Falkland. It is rather dangerous there being so close to Outcast space, but if one is willing to take the risks it sure is profitable..
I believe I have met you before in space, and I have heard of fellow members having very good thing to say of your behaviour. However, like Im sure they have told you during those meetings, the IMG does not have our ship Beacons squawk our callsigns, but rather our full names.

My grandfather left me one legacy, a mining droid # 516, and the last of its sort.
in his honor I have crafted a second droid named 517. Because I am mostly moving from one system to another, I have chosen to become an Independent trader,I was hoping I could protect my droid from any harm by enlisting it with a proper faction.
I therefor hope you could accept droid # 517 as one of you employees. He is highly qualified for the job. You can pay him like an normal employee and he will transfer his pay automatically to me. As for mining locations, i was hoping the company could help the droid with that.
I am hoping for an answer soon.

I apologise for the lack of reply. Unfortunately Mr. Foster has recently retired from his directing duties and has gone separate ways. Director Syana Kyan is now taking on the role of Economics director on top of her original duties.
The IMG have experimented with automated and AI mining droids in the past, and while results were encouraging there were many flaws that were left unsolved or unaddressed. The most notable that comes to mind is that artificial inteligence units have primitive learning capabilities in the fact that they are not able to process the ethics or morality of events experienced. This has at one time nearly killed a mischievous miner when he taught an experimental mining unit ambiguous data without thinking of possible repercussions. Eventually, the engineer behind the experiments gave up on the possibility of automated mining drones and started work on other R&D projects.
If you are willing to continue on his work, I (and I am sure Syana as well) will allow you to do so under the guild's wing. We can notify you of the IMG's more profitable asteroid feilds, however, controlling the units so that they do not cause harm to other miners will be entirely your own responsibility. If you accept those terms, then the IMG greets you with open arms.
For you personally, there are currently many positions available in the defence department, so there is no problem for you entering the guild under this profession. I shall contact you on a private channel to inform you of IMG ship fittings and specifications, as well as passcodes for our Guildcomm (//skype) frequencies.

He thought he knew her, and he probably had a damned good idea of who she was, but he didn't know everything. One didn't make it to the Director of 3 quarters of the guild at 24 without some hidden secrets.
"How about an advisor? I'm sadly lacking in people in my depertment at the moment, my fleet is pitifully small and I desperately need more people. So... why should I give a position to you?"
My experiance for one. I know the Taus as well as most seasoned miners and I have a pretty decent knowlege of the rest of the entire Sirius sector. I've had the fortunate chance to explore almost all of it, especially the borderworlds. And about that advisor position... sounds great as long as im not stuck behind a desk all the time.
