I was more hoping for the type of response "Ok, is there any RP significance to what you were planning? Because I am fully willing to work on those systems with you" before I start spamming RP stuff for something that isn't going to happen. I guess I should just stop posting?
@Commodore: the part that is the actual space arch (nickname = space_arch) is not in it's place, it's moved to the right when you look at the picture. Actually, to correct that, you need to give it the exact same coordinates as the space_arch_asteroid, ex: position = 1234, 2000, 10000 for both (it's a random set of coords, your may differ). Though, as I said, try thinking of another object as the Phantoms and GoR have already payed for their systems and the Space Arches in them, a fourth Space Arch would be too much. For example, try making a dockable Spyglass or something of that sort, let's have variety, please.
' Wrote:Here's an idea. There are countless systems (too many to name, actually) which just have two jump holes, and maybe a base or battleship stuck in there. Planets, trade lanes, new trade routes, and other loveable things would give us even more to Discover!
I was telling you that exactly those systems are being replaced/edited. No new ones are going to be added. Dab did Omicron-74 for the Zoners (AW) and Vespucci for the Hackers (HF), I'm making an Omicron for the Phantoms, an Omicron for the Outcasts (GoR) and Tau-63 for the Blood Dragons (Nova PowerGen), someone made Omega-50 for the SCRA, I think someone is working on Baffin (not sure) and so on.
You see where I'm getting with it? THAT post of yours was utterly useless. For example, I have a whole story about the Outcast system, starting with Edmundo Razgriz, the Outcast explorer that found the system, through the Dreadnaught 'Captana', the 'Corsica Outer Sanctum' that is rumored to be the home of the Ghosts of Razgriz, the 'Bastia' Outpost and the leader of the fighter wing that was escorting the GMG battleship 'Namura' (stolen RNS-'Blitzkrieg' during the 80-year war) who committed sepuku when the Namura's hull buckled under the Outcasts' fire.
If you have some constructive ideas, please post. Specially if you can't turn those into reality yourself, maybe someone decides to take that and makes the system you dream of. Roleplay is not a crime, spam is.
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
And im making Puerto Rico for the Junkers(Helghast of sirius). O and no way am I removing the space arch. I have no idea how to make a capship besides a battlestar or a house BS or the osiris dockable. Unless you make an "other object" then put it in there. then stick a base inside
Commodore, if you look at the second picture, that big rip in the background shouldn't be there. That should only be there if your system has a light background such as Megellan's, or the Tau's. Its not supposed to be used in dark-backgrounds. So you need to change the background to something else. I'd use the background used in Texas as the template.
Also, the Badlands asteroids with Green makes them look too black and texture-less. I'd suggest using Nomad asteroids with the green nebula, or changing the green to something more around Violet or very dark blue.
Thats all. Also, have you tried docking the Arch? Because the original, the shield prevents you from docking it. So if the shield prohibits docking you'd have to remove that..
Mate, which part of 'idea already taken and systems payed for' you can't comprehend?
Ignorance is a poor excuse anyway. It's not hard to make a battleship base, if you need help with it, I can help you. Just say it, no need to flame over it.

Sorry Commodore, I have to say, the Arch next to a planet also doesn't work.
This base is made up of pieces of a broken up planet, hardly be next to a complete one. More thought needed
in placement of bases.
