My friends always talk abaut CS is it really that good?
If it is i wloud download it...Its a bit old,but i like games like Fallout 2 and X:Beyond the frontier...
Im actually playing X BtF while Disco's down...

God yes. Source has better graphics, but I like 1.6 better.

It may be old, but it has a much much more active community than almost any other FPS out there.

Just keep in mind that at this point, CS is a very hard game for new comers.

Racism, insults, and over all hostility is found in almost every server, so be prepapred :O

Other than that, its good (I prefer Day of Deafeat though;)).

I used to play Source... if you invest some time, you get pretty good at it and it's a fun thing, but it never really did it for me

HBF is trying to start a CSS or CS server and if you want to be a part of it join our forums, the more people we get who will play on it the more of a chance we will set up a sserver.

It's the same thing. If you get HL though, you can play HL as well as CS, since the mod for CS v1.6 is free.

I don't really like counter strike all that much, I like Unreal Tournament 2003 much more. The whole tactical aspect does not appeal to me. I LIKE my FPS's to be over the top and unrealistic.

Take the bad advice from me: Stay away from Source:Dand trust me Source sucks:D

No really, if you care of graphics choose Source but other than that 1.6 is more challenging.
