that is a reason there are basicly representatives of every NPC faction around on the dev team - if they have an official faction. - so there won t be dramatic changes to RP and style.
in the 4.85 - however... not many of those representatives made use of that. - actually i can only remember the BHG representative activly balancing and reviwing the ships and the RP development. but it was offered to many many others.
