It's an Alliance <strike>Cruiser</strike> Fighter, modified and used by Alliance General Atticus Rockford to travel to Sirius and warn the colonists of the Nomads, who had destroyed the Sol System.
I doubt this will be put into the mod because it's an 800 year old ship. However, it does bear a resemblance to the sleeper ships and the Outcast Destroyer as well. In fact, the 4.84 version of the Outcast Destroyer was supposed to look like a min-sleeper ship, judging by the in-game description.
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits
The thing isn't cruiser sized, the thing is fighter sized.
Look at the video it is in and compare it to its approach to the half disassembled Liberty sleeper ships, then compare that to the Hispania wreak, its a fighter.

I think you're right actually. The video never said what ship it was.

Here's an idea - use them for new low-level ships. Newbie and mid-level fighters, freighters, etc. Say that, although the design is outdated, it was rebuilt by some company with modern technology to serve as an inexpensive ship and an interesting conversation piece for anyone interested in ancient history.
Yeah, they'd be outdated - so they'd be newbie stuff. Both sides appeased; those who like them have them, and those who think they're outdated see them as... well, completely outclassed.
Frankly, id love to see the intro ships into the game. For those who think they would be out dated... answer me this... why do ALL the battleships look the same externally? Answer: if it works, keep using it. So what if the design is old? Modern tweaks make old things work nice. Prop planes are still flown irl, and old cars are still driven... so how is this diffrent? if anything, it would be easy to make a modernised version of it. Perhaps use them as LF? we need more of them, we only have a couple compared to all the other classes.
