I would love to know what is going to happen with the Gallia core systems and I just hope to God that they are not as crap as the Gallia systems that have already been opened. They are the most depressing systems in the game, honestly! Everywhere you look it is like living under Nazi occupation, I expect to get stopped and dragged off to Auschwitz if I can't proove my loyalty to the crown. The only thing worth playing in Gallia is a resistance fighter and then you do nothing except fight against almost overwhelming odds.
God! I've never been so depressed by any game I ever played. I had started to develope characters in Gallia ready for the upcoming 4.86, but the experience there has made me dread it now. The scenery is good, but the music is awfull, the society is depressing, the preponderance of military vessels to civillian ones seems like 10:1 or more and the fact that bases not loyal to the crown even exist just feels totally unrealistic after playing there for any length of time. I have tried playing there as GRN, GRP, Gallic Brigand, Union Corse, Freelancer and Independent Trader and all of them have made me realise that above all else, I hate Gallia, playing there, playing Gallic characters and flying Gallic ships! After reading through the posts in this thread, it seems that when 4.86 does arrive I will probably spend most of my time in the right hand side of the Sirius map.
To the devs, I say that you do a very good job, but I personally think that unless things turn out to be totally different to what I expect, you may have screwed up royally this time!
Keep in mind i only intend to be constructive, i know this is hard to make up and i in no way want to offend the person who worked on this.
honestly i have to agree with sir jameson and thexare.
this storyline is IMPOSSIBLE for us outcasts to survive, you seriously cripple our house
just one example: if im reading this right, than the system we use to smuggle is under full gallia control taking away more than 90% of the incomes of the outcasts. first off all: there's no way we would let that happen, as mister jameson suggested we should atleast attempt to give em a royal slapping. and second: if we wanna keep up roleplay, ye might as well remove the outcast house cause there is no way they will survive this:(
A Psalm out of the outcast history books.
The dons are our shepherds; I shall not want. They make us live with a cause; They lead us trough the still vasts of space. They restore our souls; They lead us in the paths of righteousness For The Orange Dream. Yai, though we fly through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil; For the Spirits are with us; Your leadership and Your cardamine, they comfort us. You prepare a safe home for us in the presence of our enemies; Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us All the days of our life; And we will dwell in the house of the outcasts Forever
^ He's right, the lane is fully completed and functional.
Quote:After the IMG deal was complete and whatever defenses the BMM still had around the Tau-31 gate were scattered, the route though Tau-23 was opened for Gallic forces to come through.
So who now controls the Tau-31 Gate Construction Site? The Gallic Navy?
This storyline is expected but it makes a big mess also. Now we have many factions fleeing to many more new systems. Poor Council, poor Gaians, poor Bretany- she suffered too much, poor Outcasts (no Im loling, vivan i Corsari) and maybe poor Colonials.
Nice story and a big mess. What about Hispania? Will Grand Carina become new Leeds?
Sorry if this is Necromancy.
