I don't know. It looks too much like a Junker/Corsair ship to me, especially with the new texture.

If it really is an alien ship, make it more...foreign. Give it a more distinct style. Look at the AI ships, they are easily recognizable and don't look like anything any other faction could have. The general shape of your ship is OK, but imo, it needs much more details, a different texture and something that gives it true uniqueness.

The model itself looks like a fighter to me. The neck and cockpit makes me think of the Order. The texture makes me think of the Corsairs. To me it looks like you've made a Order/Corsair strike fighter :/

hm... i still dont fully like the armor plates, i need to find a texture that fits the ship better for those...

what if I used the spike texture I had on the escape pod bays? Like so... stretches the texture a bit though...

for a cruiser class ship, it definitely lacks windows, which kind of gives me the impression its not that big. also, whats the size of the mat file, if you plan on submitting it with custom textures..? furthermore, looking at the last screenshots, you have alot of repetitive textures, try mixing them up a bit, to get more variation perhaps?
