there is profit when the battle ship pays up. which they normaly dont. but we can try, after all, the juggernaught is normaly considered some sort of mobile freeport. wouldent you pay to keep it from exploding?

and this is not the place to argue.

Check my only post in the Molly Republic bounty thread. I cashed in on a Corsair gunboat in Dublin who'd been basing off Gran Canaria (funnily enough, you can see the Omega 49 JH in the kill shot). And plenty of Corsairs do end up flying through Dublin to hit the Deuterium and Gold traders. Or they end up in Leeds hitting embargo smugglers. I know this, because I have to deal with them all the time as a Buccaneer. Competition is bad for me.

EDIT: On topic, the archaic spidery text font in the faction status is annoying to read. The white text makes for nasty contrast on blue Solution as well. It is well written though.

This is the perfect place to argue, as you kind of lack a feed-back thread.

Now going by your interpretation of a Juggernaught being a mobile freeport... each time you destroy one, you'll kill hundrets of civillians, thus committing an atrocity which would label you as terrorists.

So next time you blow one up, you can expect the Zoners to shout bloody-mass-murder and get the bretonian crown to have the BPA) and BAF| to hunt you.

QCP| relies on hidden support... I doubt you'd have anyone left to do so then.

I guess in that case, you'd better fill your battleships with passenger/VIP/refugee/spaceship crew commodities to act as settlers. Unless they're there, to me it's not a colony ship, it's a battleship. Even if they do kill the ship, and it had the commodities, they'd all be left floating in space presumably by escape pod.

And then the argument back would be that the Zoners are selfish money hoarders, who would rather let a whole freeport's worth of civilians die than pay the single relatively small fee the Privateers charged.

Silly goose.

Just wanted to clear that up. Continue.

-Edit- I typed something about the "Lul! If the ship explodes, everybody gets to an escape pod and in the end is okay. Pfft, flying shrapnel? Gunfire? Everybody ejecting at the exact same time? Nonsense! In a perfect world... "
But chose against it so as not to derail the thread.

It is the opinion of myself and a number of other Privateers that we will not participate in any false RP forced on us by the Admins. We won't target Zoners, since such as decision was forced upon us (though we'll still ruthlessly pirate any Zoners who make themselves a target of opportunity), but there won't be any RP'd peace treaty from us. The 'ceasefire' is completely OORP, gained through OORP means, and for us it will stay OORP.

Blunt, of course, may decide otherwise, but we won't know until he gets back. And if he does decide otherwise, I find my schedule unfortunately full at the time whatever RP event may be arranged.

Also, pirating a battleship is great, I encourage any group of pirates with the firepower to do so to do so. If a Juggernaut's CO won't pay a few mil to keep his civilians safe, then the Zoners may want to take a good close look at who they're putting in command of their 'mobile freeports'.

Hey, Liberty trades with Kusari. Best attack Liberty.

I'm curious as to the matter of bases, and I'll wait to see what the answers to others' questions are.

Oh Jeez, let's not poison another thread with this endless discussion.

QCP broke away from BAF. They're quasi-pirates believing to be doing the right thing for the Crown = What AFA is to Kusari. They hate Corsairs and they hate Zoners for letting Corsairs land on their bases.

THAT'S IT.

That's their roleplaying point of view. That's how it's going to be.

Now for actual Feedback!
My only complaint is that some of the QCP players talk like idiots and I can't tell if they're trying to roleplay idiots or if they're really "lolwut" material.

For example, when Burns and I approached the 4 of you near Gran Canaria (the day that the controvercial conflict occured), you guys simply said something along the lines of, "Oh more Zoner bounty targets. Yes let's get them." Instead of explaining why the hell you were shooting at us (because I had no idea why at the time -- you guys had BAF IFF and I was completely baffled).
Then there are other lines like:
"i want a million" <--- No capitalization, no punctuation, lolwut material
"Imma go play with BULLET." <--- Borderline lolwut material

So in short, some of you need to put a little more effort into your dialogue.
