We're always up for discussing of events, what did you have in mind? And don't pay any attention to "Mr. Bean" he'll get bored with all of us RP'ing sissys and move on. And out of all the servers out there he picked ones populated by RP wheenies. You have to ask yourself just how smart the guy really is. Hahaha, whatever. Here or there, and everywhere, lets kill space pirates.:)

Ooc: I had planned to make my grand entrance on my day off Thursday, however, two HF had other plans. I could not allow them to just sit in Cali without a challenge. So, here is my latest patrol rotation report.

Final refit has been concluded and system upgrades are finished (ooc: cable modem, Baby! Pinging 160. Better than my dial-up and USA server back in Dec., 250-ish). Upon entering patrol rotation scanners revealed 2 HF vessels in California. LNS-RedBear was dispatched to investigate and engaged at Cali-Magellan JG. Unfortunately, the LNS-RedBear hit a brief squall (ooc: sorry for that HF, but my 18 month old girl decided to act up and I hit select new character instead of options to change my keyboard configs from fighter to Frigate). However, it past quickly and the LNS-RedBear entered battle and damaged HF-Denelo (GB) and forced the HF-Cesare_Lorry (fighter) to retreat into magellan system. Shall continue patrol.
Raid authorized due to fighter presence in Cali. SA-OsoRojo engaged, but damaged. LNS-RedBear dispatched and followed HF into Vespucci. One Weapons platform destroyed, America Base slightly damaged, Hacker Ace-Fred Sharri destroyed and half-dozen fellow vessels suffered heavy damage. However, once in Magellan system set upon by FGS-BS-GM.Sunburst and continued harassment from HF-Hellbringer throughout engagement. LNS-RedBear damaged.
Still trying to figure out where I'm going to end up. The new disco server is pretty unplayable for me... I get lots of lag. I can't hit NPCs at all unless they're coming straight at me, and even then it's only half the time.
Unfortunately, BK is hardly in a stable state either. I like the server itself, nice and fast. I like the beginnings of a community that were forming, despite a few rough spots. On the other hand, some of the ideas that have been proposed, if implemented, would hurt the game a lot. Even, worse, the mere idea is driving players off the server, and you've gotta have players for the game to be fun.
So, I don't know what I'm going to do. If players come back to BK and the server doesn't go all weird, I'll probably end up staying there. If not...I don't know.
