Switching weapon groups

First of all, I am a excessive weapon group user. It is essential for dogfights, to have instant access to the various groups (shield busters/hull breakers/SNAC).
But I discovered a very annoying thing: After I dock and undock, my weapon groups are sometimes scrambled or mixed. So I might have the weapon group one doubled and no weapon group on button two.

That is really strange and killed me more then one time, yet. Imagine you are in a battle and recognize, that you can't switch quickly.

always have only weapon group 1 activated when you dock.

Then they won't switch.

Know this one! Been a long time since I played another mod but I think this is a generic problem.

I always make certain I'm on my primary weapons grouping when I dock & then its all OK.

Drives me crazy when I have to leap into my fighter to scramble to a fight, get ready to shoot my Inferno to get their shields down and.. say what? Hellfuries shoot? Dang.

Its fun taking out a capital ship with a SNAC that can be aimed separately.

If you find yourself in combat with messed up weapon groups, holding shift and pressing numbers 1-9 allows you to quickly select and deselect weapons. After a few trys you'll be able to quickly fix your weapon groups in just a couple seconds in the middle of a fight.
