@ Mr. McNeo, If you memorize parts of the sonnet, sentence by sentence, you will find it easier. Read the part you want to memorize, cover it, and try to repeat it in your head, EVEN if you cannot do it well.

Keep on doing it for each line until it is all memorized. Then go back to the first line and see if you still remember it! ;)

Hmm well....i have a question.

I can do dy/dx = y and y = dy/dx, but i keep forgetting which one is integration and which one is...the other one which i forgot the name.

Are there any tips on how to remember which one is which? I mean i know its a simple pair of sums but i always get mixed up when doing integration or the other one.

Well, Integration is changing a derivative into a function, and Differentiating is changing a function into its derivative.

For instance,

You can integrate 5 and get 5x, the function, as your result.

Differentiating something like 6x-1 will yield 6, the slope.

Does that help?

So differentiation is where you multiply the power of x with the value before it, then take away a value of 1 from the power.

And integration is where you divide the power of x with the value before it, then add a value of 1 too its power.

like this:

Differentiation:

dy/dx = 3x^3 + 5x^2 + 10x + 4

y = 9x^2 + 10x + 10

and Integration is

y = 5x^5 + 14x^2 + 23

dy/dx = x^6 + 7x^3 + 23x + c

Please correct me if im wrong:D.

Thats a minus 3 at the bottom in case it doesnt come out right.

I think i know what to do when it comes up, but i need to actually be able to remember what it does and means in my Ad-Maths exam.
