I like the ANZAC idea,could be mede up of IMGrs that have sided with bretonia, BAF pilots and maybe BMM pilots who've joined the BAF if it dosn't cause too much conflict.

The separatist movement idea wouldn't realy be logical untill the war with Kusari is resolved, and I can't see why a legal political movement would need heavely armed spaceships. As for the ALP, we didn't gain independance with guns like the Americans, so I don't realy like that idea too much.

So I'd say start off with the military faction and see where it goes from there.

You know could always have Anzacs as the ELITE! fighters of BAF they could be use for important missions like guarding the nobility or diplomats

If you want an australian nation, I'd suggest you look for some Total war mods. Just doesn't fit in FL. Like said before, we'd need to add a house for every single nation there is if this gets through. Just doesn't make sense.

It's all fine and dandy to love your country, but there's no need to put it in every game.

Hehe I dont recall australia getting representation in any game to be honest. your arguement about adding every country doesnt seem correct the french got added recently if im not mistaken by the gallons of back an forth talk about Gallia an mod updates an there hasnt been such uproar of every nation being a house.

ANZAC: Techincally 'BAF Auxillaries', this is an Australian and New Zealand military faction allied with the BAF in the war against Kusari. Therefore, we'd operate in Bretonnian space and the Tau systems. Military only, there wouldn't be any 'nation' here...just a bunch of Aussies with guns.

Now thats a much better idea. We could operate as part of Britonnia as some kind of independant military force for them. Don't think we'd take on domestic issues, such as the Mollys, but be more of a guerrilla force carrying out operatiosn against the Kusari and other strategic target for <strike>King</strike> Queen and country.

We'd mostly be comprised of Britonians, Mollys with a few ex-pat Siriusians. I for one think it'd be great fun. Not a fan of the extra sleeper ship though, we'd have deffinately pilled onto the Poms boat, why build our own when they'll do it for us? :D

I havent found the news article mentioning an Aussie sleeper ship in the current version of discovery - apparently the staff got rid of it after the Beta Version. This does help somewhat.

THEREFORE:
The nation of Australia was carried aboard the Bretonnia Sleeper Ship, and become rather integrated with the Bretonnians. However, the Aussie descendants never forgot thier national identity or thier pride, and have been considered 'What the Mollys could have been, had they stayed legal'.

So far, they've stayed out of political and military matters, but with Kusari closing in the Aussies have decided that it time to act - especially since thier traditional home system (Dundee) has seen heavy fighting. Named after the 20th Century combined Aussie & New Zealand Army Corps, the ANZAC is ready to fight alongside their Bretonnian allies to push the Kusari Naval Forces back out of Bretonnian space.

Consisting of a Fighter Corps, Capital Corps, Diplomatic Corps, Logistics Corps & ANZAC High Command, they are a force on the rise, constantly recruiting to build up thier numbers.

Does THIS sound any better?

im an aussie and an australian faction would be a good idea. i dont know why you guys care about accents and that, noone can hear you. I do rekon however that we couldve gone either way, with the brits or the libertonians. idk. its hard to find people in our timezone. and dont say our timezone sucks. because of our position, we where actually one of the first contries to declare war on germany. put that in your pipe and smoke it. we wouldnt need much, just a system maybe even dundee.
