My computer is a Dell Optiplex GX260 Desktop. Can it support a new graphics card? I need one to play Team Fortress 2! And just about any modern PC game.

Check if your motherboard can support a PCI-E Graphics card. If so then yes it supports a GCard.

That pc has small memory limit 1gb if I read it right, and for a graphic card from that specs list is written at "Other": scrool down, says AGP 4x slot which is rare to find a graphic card for that slot nowadays...BUT if you search for one you`ll find one look at ATi graphic cards they still make for AGP4x and 8x
Also 20Gb HDD is small I have same HDD and I`ll replace it this winter.
(my hdd has 7 years).
Link for specs:

EDIT I have AGP 8x graphic card from ATI - its ATI AH3650 and has 512MB DDR2 and HDMI and Silent mode. Runs smooth and no problems with it.

Dell Optiplex GX260 has a AGP 4X/8X video card slot.
Nvidia 7300GT or ATI Radeon HD 4670 would be the fastest video card you can use depending on the competing manufacturers you prefer.

Devtonia ; all-or-nothing approach to bias.

It's doable like people here have said, BUT is it reasonable to spend money to that Dell is the question.

I've always have been of mind to not throw money down the well in this case, but if you need to have the card to this machine then go ahead.

Flying under radar.

So, that'll play Team Fortress 2, right?

Depends on the requirements of TF2. Just look at the minimal requirements and compare them to your game rig.

Alternatively just lower the graphic details to a reasonable level.

Those 260s can only support a agp. The 7800gs is the fastest card you can get. it should run those games fine.
