LNS Columbia, LNS Washington and Interceptor entered the Vespucci system
and shot down any resistance, no HellFire ship was there to defend.
Nearly 100 elite guard pilots were taken prisoner and transfered to
Sugarland Texas.

Didn't HF challenge us? Why do they hide then? Pretty obvious, they're all scared to death.
When they get back to Vespucci, they will find it in ruins.

(OOC: I realize I'm in a bad mood and probably shouldn't be posting here, but this kind of crap is whats making things worse. Propaganda is fine, but there are limits. Do not make attacks when no HF are on and call it a victory. You didn't see us flying into California and blowing up dozens of BS patrols then claiming the SA are cowards and unwilling to fight. Its the same stuff everyone flamed C.C.E about when the 'boarded' Freeport 9 after waiting for the AW to log off. Guys, keep this between the PLAYER FACTIONS. Going in after you see the enemy log off and then claiming victory is extremely unfair tactics. NPCs simply cannot fight player capships and fighters that are together in groups. You can't expect them to fight that way. You'd complain if HF went into New York and shot every NPC in sight and claimed taking prisoners of hundreds of civilians.)

Hello? Is this thing on? Nurse, go away, I need to find out what happened! TACCOM, did we get that Xenos gunboat?

Alright, let me start from the beginning. This is Cpt. Seldon, reporting an engagement in Colorado and the destruction of my fighter. Again. Sorry about that. I'm going to demote the 383rd's quartermaster if I don't kill him, he somehow let me launch without any countermeasures on board. Naturally, I got shot down. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

I was enjoying a nice lunch when I received an urgent comm message from the LNS Washington. A Xenos gunboat called Prospector was spotted in Colorado, attacking the Universal trader Eminescu. Luckily for Paul, he escaped. The Washington and I proceeded to respond, and found the LSF frigate Chancellor had already responded and was engaging the enemy. We all attacked, and to my dismay I found I had no countermeasures. I'm afraid I didn't last long. I found myself in a pod pretty quickly, drifting back towards the jumpgate, cursing my luck and hoping that the Prospector was a burning pile of slag by now. Hopefully, that's true... I look forward to hearing the full battle report from someone who wasn't forced to eject.

I don't quite know how I got back. Apparently, I passed out. The next thing I remember is waking up in this blasted hospital. I can almost move my arms again, the doctors tell me I'll be good to go in a day or two.

I'm going to need a new ship when I get back. Again.

OOC: Propaganda yes, but tone it down to having attacked Vesspucci and eliminated several fighters rather than the bloated NPC kill count. Yes we can all blast NPCs by the thousands, lol, leave the numbers vague and reasonable...makes for a more believeable story. And yes it is your thread, but others do read;)
For the bloated NPC numbers...have it after a couple of drinks in the bar type story:cool:

All South Alliance personell, it seems to have been a busy day. I'd like to first welcome our new officer Ace, and congratulate Cpt. Matrix on his promotion. As far as the matter of the LNS Hawaii is concerned I concure with the Admirality on punishment and also recommend remedial Operational awarness and combat training be assigned. The last few days have seen a remarkable drop in enemy activity and has given us here in CA a much needed respite. The LNS Valhalla is under repair and will be in space soon. I would also like to announce that I have chosen Lt. Sam Snow callsign: Orion, to replace LtCmd. Stark as the head of the 226th Fighter Squad. Congrats on the promotion and good hunting LtCmd. I would also like to commend the efforts of Adm. Nussebull and his officers on a successful raid into enemy territory. It's about time we took the fight to them. Also I am ordering a new set of battle drills to help hone the fighting skills of all our fighters and to gain better standing with the elite guard of the Navy. I believe I have covered everything.
