Yes I know you have no reason to listen to me, for I have worked against what you believe my entire life, but times change, people change, and so have I.
But allow me to introduce myself. I was born on Planet Denver in the year of 792 AS. Times were a bit different then, but not much has changed as you are well aware of that. Never did I miss anything in my life, as my family provided me with all that I asked. Lincoln Memorial is the school I attended when 7 years old. In school the teachers described me as a lazy, but capable person, always did I excell in mathematics, physics and mechanics, and thus my choice of further education was a logical one. First 3 years of my high school education was at the Denver Flight and Technology school while the forth, the last year I enlisted in the Liberty Navy, as they offered me schoolarship in their program for Space Research and Technology. In the same program I spent the next 2 years in getting my master's degree in SRT. Thus finding a job was easy, and the Navy employeed me as a Flight Simulator Developer.
From that point on life was good, I met a beautifull girl, that I plan to marry, and.....ohh that is not important, it is not why I'm contacting you.
For 5 years have I worked on the Flight Simulator Development, and year after year, month after month has the project received less and less funding by the government, thus all that worked on the project began receiving a reduction in their paychecks, including myself. We protested, but as you can imagine with this government, not much happened. We were given a promise that the wages will rise up again. That was a year ago. Now the life was hard in the last two years, and the last year has become unberable.
The Bank of Liberty provided me with a credit loan, that I became unable to pay with the recent events, therefore I lost my house, my ship, my girlfriend's parents support, even she has doubts now. But her situation is no better. To make things better, I lost my job as of late. And the explanation they gave me was very simple in their eyes, the project has no future, and you and your team are not worthy the credits the government is losing on you. Not their words exactlly, but you get the picture. Also rumor has it, that some Kusari company is doing the same research, and has agreed to sell it to Liberty. And that is more profitable then to waste time and money on your own workers that do the same thing. My own family disowned me because of this, accusing me being a disgrace to the family name. I don't blame them, who knows what the government has said to them, but I never liked them much anyway. It is simple, I have nowhere to go.
So what could I offer you for you to greet me amongst your ranks. Not much, besides the mutual hate towards the government, and the foreign companies that have more influence in Liberty then its own people. I can also offer the most recent maps of Liberty territory, and the Flight Simulator prototype. It could be useful to train cadets. I'm not much of a pilot. I have around 1500 hours in the simulator I was developing, but real combat flight training, 30 hours, the minimum that was required to enter the SRT program. What I require is a safe home for me and my girlfriend who is coming with me, why that is not important, and a safe passage for us from Ames Research Station to wherever.

the reason for my loathe of liberty is not simply that im derranged it is because as a young child i always dreamed of having a safe job on pittsburg as a miner, not the best choice for a job, but it wouldve made me fairly happy. so as i was taking the course some liberty soldiers came and whispered something to my 'commander' if you will, then next day i was put off the course and exiled to planet curacao inthe cortez system, i found out that i was exiled from new york because i had missed one weeks rent. and instead of telling me to pay they threw me out and drained me of my credits!!!
so i worked on curacao for a few weeks and earned some money doing some work in a restaurant and bought myself a cheap civilian licence. i then took a loan out from liberty obviously not telling them my name, and bought myself a starflyer with som justice's. thats when i decided to have something more out of life, i served some xenos in the restaurant and overheard some of their adventures so i ran...away from my poverty . if liberty want their money back theyll have to go through the xeno and me first.

Greetings my fellow countrymen. My name is William Roach, people just call me Will. I understand this is the place where true patriots meet. I have come here for one reason above all, and that is the love for my homeland. I was born on planet Manhattan 24 years ago. From when I started going to school I was found to be very talented, and, interested in weapon systems and ships. Yes I had some difficulties in school, but who didnt have them?
My parents were mostly at home, lived off of their pension, which was I may say pretty low. After finishing school I got a job as a flight instructor. Business was going good, I was working in a security company and I was surrounded by stuff that I loved. The pay wasnt all -that- good, but I was doing what I dreamed of my entire childhood. After a while I came up with the idea that I should start my own business, because the pay and the benefits that my employers gave me were getting worse and worse with each month. They said it had something to do with several licences that they needed the money for, and which the government denied them.
After a few months of saving enough money I quit my job. It was one of the hardest decisions I had to make in life, but to be able to start my own business it was necessary. A lot of people knew me and they knew that I was a good instructor, so they came to me, brought me even more customers that were willing to learn, but things never go as they are planned to go. I couldnt get the loan from the bank that I needed to make this work. They told me that I have a poor chance of success in this business and that it would be a waste of their money. Can you beleive that? "A waste of their money". I left behind all that I knew and loved to start this business, I had plans, I had hopes, I had everything that I needed except for the money. I even had the trust of the people that already knew me and that had done business with me before.
But no, every single bank that I went to to get a loan refused me for the same reason. I was nobody, I was poor and I was just a nusiance for them. I realised that one single man with a vision cant succeed with the present government if he is not "filthy rich". Things need to change....
I come to you know, in this time of despair. I know your goals, I know what you wish to achieve and I support it to the fullest. I have nowhere to go anymore, so I hope to find a new home with you.....my fellow countrymen.
