Recently, increased pressure from my company's Board of Directors forced me to allow my pilots the use of jump holes. On one previous occasion, a pilot entered the system of Omega-49 without my permission. He was, unfortunately, killed in the process, but before his vessel was destroyed he beamed back data on the system including the planet Gran Canaria.
As Gran Canaria looks to be a beautiful place, we would like to request permission to bring passengers there for the purposes of tourism. It would probably also aid us if we were allowed to purchase Deuterium and other goods from the planet to supply our operations.
If permission is granted, it would be of great benefit if you would kindly also advise us of any other Zoner-controlled facilities in the Border and to a lesser extent Edge Worlds that may prove popular with sightseers.

Above the Geode is Shasta Orbital Skyhook where your wealthier clients may purchase Pineal Amulets and enjoy some fine dining as well. On a good day, they may get to meet me as my Ambassador's Suite is there.

Keep in mind, the system is patrolled. A head's up upon system entry would be appreciated and a "Hail Eris" would make people happy. Commander Matok is in charge of the security in my absence. He's a bit, well, abrasive and comes across as rude but hey, he's Klingon so it's to be expected. We would prefer that you call ahead so that we can arrange an escort.

Now, as far as you visiting Omega 49, I would hold off on that for now. There is a lot of tensions in the area with piracy within the system and safety cannot be guaranteed. I will bring the issue of Omega 49 to some others for discussion and get back with you shortly.

I apologize for the delay in this response, but times have been troubling lately.

As to your access to Omega-49, we don't often restrict people from our stations or our systems. The same would be true in this case. You have permission to enter Omega-49 and have docking access to Gran Canaria. Please observe all regulations, medical and procedural, put in place by the planet's Council. We want to preserve Planet Gran Canaria as much as possible, which is why so much of the planet is still uninhabited, left for nature to take its course.

You also have permission to transport Deuterium. Currently we're producing more of it than we can transport, and demand has only risen lately. Likewise, any other trade goods may be purchased or sold on the Planet as well.
