If its a trader F1ing on piracy or embargo enforcement, i always kill them, if it is a combat ship that F1s to avoid a fight or to avoid any consequences of any actions of his that might be wrong, or even goes AFK to slot save, i dont kill him, i just shoot all his weapons and equipment off.

Plus, nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing a bomber threaten someone only to realise he has no guns, missiles, SNACs, mines, CMs or thruster, and get pwned by some lvl 40 player in an unarmoured LF.

Generally, when I see someone doing something stupid, I PM them, explain what they're doing wrong, tell them to read the rules and stop doing the stupid thing they're doing.

However, F1ing doesn't permit that, so instead I shoot them until they blow up or vanish. Usually the latter happens, because I can't hit the broad side of a barn with a supernova...

Same here. I know how to write sanction reports, but normally I just blast them away. Nobody is helped with sanctions except in very rare occasions, when somebody harms the server as a whole.

When I was a pirate I'd report F1s a lot more often (this was before the F1 timer was implimented, and yes it was possible to prove a F1 before the notice, done it, multipule times.) because people would F1 on me all the time. I considered it a pre-emptive measure against all the BH BCs that would come after me (sorry BHG, no offense to you guys) in the long run. Nowadays I don't encounter many F1ers, and if I do I usually just poof em. I'm a PvP whore at heart and seeing the little blue message satisfies me.

If I feel like a report is neccessary for another reason I usually just log off and do other stuff for a few hours, if I still feel like they're a big violator in need of punishment after that then I'll file a report. If not I'll let bygones be bygones.

I rarely report f1ing traders. I just scoop up their cargo after their abrupt and sudden death. I feel there's a lesson in there all of its own.
