JUST like whoever wrote the info card for Planet Cork getting nuked by Corsairs. Remember that? How absolutely ridiculous THAT is. Nobody asked TBH, OPG, Benitez, etc if they were okay with this. The developer just wrote that piece of info and if I recall correctly the QCP have been using it as a legitimate RP element.
Yet you and I both followed the same stuff. Developers make the info cards, they make the BShips available to Zoners, etc etc. We play along.
So maybe the developers need to make up their mind about how Zoners ought to be, because I don't want to spend another year RPing around a set of rules only to find out that the creators want to reverse engineer another storyline.

I roleplay that what I want. I brought stuff from House Planets to Freeports. Stuff from Freeports to Planets. To support the Freeports and the Planets. I doubt that the Zoners are somehow dumping their waste into Space, or produce their own Pharmaceuticals, Ship Hull Panels, H-Fuel or Synth-Paste. I was playing a Zoner as meant to be played, to be there to support our Freeports with Goods.

I haven't docked my Zoner Whale in House territory for months and have done mostly Zoner to Zoner base trading. But what I'm looking at here is the overall picture, not just for myself, but for everybody.
Take into account that the Zoners Consortium is dedicated to flying with Zoner Guard IDs. My faction leader was born on New Berlin. His family lives there. Now he can't visit his grandmother for Christmas! That's just brutal.
Alright, you want a real example? There's a Junker base in New London. The Consortium needed that base recently to do an RP convoy from there to Freeport 11. Thankfully we did it before the changes were implemented.
